Re: First debate as a novice

I would try showing a genuine interest in what he thinks constitutes an appropriate method for establishing a consensus on history, who he considers a real expert and which universities he is referring to. If you try following his advice and let him know the results he would at least see that you ar...

Re: CW Porter's Website

Are there any other events where the existence of absurd fringe claims cause you to question the existence of the entire event? This question seems misplaced on this thread. You seem to misunderstand the nature of the argument. Revisionists of course do not question the existence of Auschwitz, or t...

Re: Himmler's Voice

The two recordings sound like different voices to me. Human beings can identify individual voices. However, as German is not my native language, I can't judge the intonation or accent intuitively. The video clip sounds like the natural voice of someone who would command confidence and loyalty, where...

Martin Amis (1949-2023) & Holocaust literature

The English novelist Martin Amis died in May 2023. A few quotations and events in his life illustrate how he lived through the height of western Holocaust-mania and its influence on Anglophone culture. As a cultural figure with access to the media and supposed spokesman for his generation or country...

Re: Contradictions proper to the orthodoxy of the Holocaust?

It is an ongoing study. There are revisionist works on most of the major camps and Carlo Mattogno recently wrote on the Einsatzgruppen. They are available in the Holocaust Handbooks series.

Re: Keith Woods' twitter-thread about how the Holocaust-narrative got legs - 1,5 million views!

Don't know who Keith Woods is and frankly I don't care, he has verbal diarrhea and just proves that a little knowledge is a dangerous thing. A bit of Irish loquacity doesn't go amiss, given what we're used to from the other side. Clearly the fellow has a knowledge of history and politics from a Cat...

Re: "Holocaust denial" to become a crime in Ireland?

Earler this week an article came out stating that new "hate speech legislation" may criminalize "holocaust denial" in Ireland. This has now been published as a Bill titled " An Bille um Cheartas Coiriúil (Gríosú chun Foréigin nó Fuatha agus Cionta Fuatha), 2022 / Criminal J...

Re: New Moderation on this site (Please Remove My Restrictions)

By the way I am not Jewish. This is not a relevant consideration in a discussion of matters of fact, evidence, etc. I am sympathetic to the free speech idea, but the rules have a purpose. The danger of removing all restrictions is that it lowers the standard of debate and allows people to sound off...

Re: Pressac - 1995 interview w Igounet in English (plus some observations)

Both [texts cited above] discuss some of his early visits to Auschwitz, his collaboration with Faurisson in 1980 and their subsequent split. He also gets into his interactions with Faurisson's adversaries in France, Georges Wellers and Pierre Vidal-Naquet and how he got involved with the Klarsfelds...

New info on KGB forgeries

The following press article refers to KGB forgeries implicating Ukrainians in the killing of Jews: In 2008, thousands of secret KGB documents were declassified in Ukraine. The files detailed horrific crimes against humanity by the Soviet Union in the 1930s during the mass famine. But they also revea...

Re: George Orwell an anti-semite and early adopter of Revisionism???

Orwell's passage is ambiguous. If you read the preceding paragraph, you will see that Orwell presents systematic doubt as a means used by "nationalists" to accredit a view of history that absolves them. Now, Orwell may have had ideas behind the head, I don't know. Indeed it is, when I rea...

Re: Nuremberg's Ben Ferencz on the Einsatzgruppen

To me it sounds they lined up people somewhere. But he words it more in line with: "We will kill you, if what you say is not true". Well, what would the interrogators consider truth in statements? How did the interrogated find that out. That said, American investigators were probably gath...
