And besides the painting being criminally tacky, the badly portrayed figures on horseback doesn't resemble Wirth or Hering in the slightest. For one thing, both Wirth and Hering wore glasses. Perhaps the painter did not own a brush fine enough to paint such details, or should we take this as an indication that he did not know what those people looked like? Hurm...
