The Babi Yar claims are truly preposterous and as shown here and on Unz etc are about as credible as man made global warming and 800,000 killed at Treblinka.

If the location was known and the city expanded into that exact location over the decades why on earth would they build on it without a) excavating it a la the town in Ukraine recently and b) launching a full scale investigation when they had found tons of body parts?

It's an extract of a longer response but he asks a question about the Babi Yar evidence and revisionists that I have never heard of before. Any thoughts on the matter concerning the dam flooding and the subsequent loss of evidence?

In the case of Babi Yar we have 1) tons of witness and perpetrator testimony 2) documents describing the killings 3) actual photos of the killing process and aftermath (extremely rare in terms of the Holocaust yet constantly demanded for by holocaust deniers – ‘show me a picture of gassed jews’ etc). The only reason there isn’t a bunch of physical forensic evidence is that a dam burst and caused the 1961 Kurenivka mudslide which destroyed the site (as well as causing up to 1500 deaths and leading to criminal convictions of the engineers).

Sounds very convenient. It's like one of those "The Nazis poured all of the millions of pounds of burnt remains into the bottom of a river, and it flowed away. Poof, gone forever."

It's really quite a conspiracy theory now. The lack of physical evidence and the scarcity/contradictory nature of alleged eyewitness testimonies are seen as convincing proof that the Nazis had something to hide and that they had successfully managed to do it.

As for the desperate & really funny "mudslide" claim, the problem with that is no one believes it. Not even Believers, not even Jew archaeologists.
That comical claim about and an alleged flood in 1961 is contradicted by the fact that recently a bunch of Jews went to Babi Yar to excavate for human remains, which of course means they believed those remains were there to excavate. They found nothing.

Sobibor ‘monument’ supposedly over the remains of 250,000 Jew, actual remains of the alleged 250,000 cannot be shown.


Alleged “ash pond” for an alleged 1.1M Jew remains at Auschwitz, however these alleged remains cannot be shown to exist.


Alleged location of Treblinka mass graves / remains of 900,000 Jews according to Treblinka officials, no alleged remains exist.

Well, it HAS to be the most documented event as there is precious little of anything else, and given the volume of eyewitness testimony to bears in cages (with de rigeur eagle), electrocutions on coveyor belts, and special rooms with floors descending into electrified water tanks there are a lot of documents.

They had time to burn all of the bodies supposedly in huge open air pyres, but not get rid of the clothes?
