CODOH newsletter: Volunteer editor(s) wanted

Postby Webmaster » 1 year 4 months ago (Sat Jan 29, 2022 11:39 am)

If you have not subscribed to the CODOH newsletter, you can input your email into the box on the left side of the CODOH home page, or at https://visitor.r20.constantcontact.com ... WKvbnbCKzt

Even if you are not interested in an editor position, you should consider subscribing to the CODOH newsletter so you can stay up-to-date on important events.

Editor! Editor!

The flood of solid revisionist scholarship is overwhelming the thin red(-pencil) line of our volunteer editor(s). CODOH needs more—at least ONE more, and so desperately that we might even PAY the lucky one(s) we select (but do NOT quit your day job for this). In the hostile environment CODOH has always inhabited, we have had to uphold the most-exacting standards of quality in our publications just to claim credibility for our unpopular, unfamiliar stances.

So we seek at least one editor to join our sparse but stalwart ranks, and this editor(s) must not only be punctilious and energetic, but likewise serve our cause with consummate skill both in English editing and in applying the powerful (computer) technologies available today to power not only editing, but likewise the inclusion of others, at great distances to produce literature consistent with the high standards CODOH has always upheld.

The editing environment is Microsoft Word, while collaboration and quality control are conducted over the Internet. Applicants will be invited to take a test we’ve made up to confirm their skills both with publication-grade English and with Word. With the right skills, along with the desire to work hard, you can give a real boost to the revisionist cause.
