It sounds good at first, but any 'overview' would include far too may topics to be coherent in a single thread.
That is why we, a 'holocaust' forum, have threads to begin with.
Trying to debate all the facets of the narrative in a single thread would result in a chaotic, jumbled, difficult to follow (especially for the new readers), mess.
Besides, I dare say that most people viewing this forum know the generally marketed story, the overview.

BTW: There are already over 9500 threads / topics currently at this forum, granted, some are a bit redundant.

This thread can go awhile, a sticky not, but I guarantee that it will eventually become the very problem so mentioned.
Look at the original post in this thread and then imagine the various discussions that could occur on any of the numerous listed topics within the 'overview'.

You do not have to worry about buying me a ticket to Yad Vashem, I will never set foot on what should be Palestinian soil. Despite being forced to support Israel by paying taxes, I will not do so voluntarily. I will not even knowingly buy a product "made in Israel" and am reluctant to return to a store that sells me such a product.

You find my overview "disappointing", not inaccurate, just disappointing. I did my best to just simply relate the story in brief without injecting my opinion. If you feel some part of wording misrepresents the story please explain.

In fact it is something I tried to avoid doing. Any "skepticism even denial" results from the story itself. It comes from your own inability to believe.

Again, this "skeptical/denial tone", as you call it, is inherent in the impossibility of the story. In other words just relating the Holocaust story is Holocaust denial and should be punishable under the Holocaust Denial Laws where they exist.

Your post should have done more to convince the operators of this site of the importance of a posting a short description of the Holocaust story under discussion than anything I've done. When you, apparently a true believer, sees the actual story set before you, you find it "dissapointing". Because I present to you what you supposedly already believe you call me a holocaust denier.

Eh, I'm not spending any money on so-called Holocaust books. I gleaned a lot of that from other places besides Wikipedia.
