Hi Folks,

I have a question for you all.

I'm sure many of you are familiar with Katyn.
Now, I recall (possibly, incorrectly), that some Jew had his signature on the order (to execute the Poles at Katyn), and that he is living on a pension right now (as opposed to being brought up on war crimes charges, as is the case with 90-100 year old Germans).

Is that indeed the case? Was a major signature Jewish?

Any info you can post is appreciated.

I don't remember where I saw the thing about some prominent Jew, living comfortably right now, who was a major signature on the Katyn order.
Over the last few years, I must have been on God knows how many sites and read that many more articles!

I will add, though, the History Channel even did something on Katyn the other day. (The main topic was the crimes of Stalin, I believe.) Not that the History Channel is a beacon of truth, but, they mentioned such a document, and mentioned that Stalin had his name on it. (If there were other signatures, and were Jewish, I doubt they wouild have mentioned that specific factoid.)

As for Beria(Sp?), I recall that name, but, I do not think that was the name I am (possibly incorrectly) remembering.

If I ever run across the article again, I'll post it here.

You may be thinking of a situation right after the war where Stalin set up concentration camps run by Jews and with German inmates. John Sack documented this in Eye For An Eye. There they really did have dogs that bit genitals and people being forced to hit each other. Strangely, all the stuff the Germans are said to have done! Not because they followed the Germans' example, but because these stories always were more about them.

This last year the Polish government asked the Israeli government to extradite one of the heads of those camps. And Israel didn't do it. My guess is you read something about this story.

By the way, I heard Beria was not Jewish. After him came Lazar Kaganovich who was. I heard that from a Ukrainian.

Wow, I forgot all about this thread!
My first reaction is that I noticed Sailor was kind enough to answer my question and I did not even acknowledge it at the time. Such bad manners! Sailor, I hope you are not the 'Never Forgive, Never Forget' type!

Anyway, I strained my memory and I still cannot remember where I read about one of the guys who signed the Katyn order that was living comfortably on a pension in Israel (or maybe even Russia, I cannot remember). And I am pretty sure that is what I did indeed read. If I do ever recall, I will surely post it here.

Carto, I am familiar with the back-stabber John Sack's book with the inappropriate title. It should have been '1000 Lives For a Fingernail'. That would have much more appropriate. The guy you are talking about is Solomon Morel. I think Israel, when asked about extradition, said the statute of limitations ran out! This from a group who are still deporting 90 year old men. When are people finally going to have enough of this filth?

I think it was Tom Moran, in a post a little while back, that pointed out that there is NO similar evidence with what allegedly happened to the chosen ones. Remember my friend from the Treblinka thread? Well, he was quite impressed by that observation. As was I.

In his book, Sack, himself a Jew, describes in detail the atrocities committed at the camp: "The guards put the Germans into a doghouse, beating them if they didn't say 'bow-wow'. They got the Germans to beat each other; to jump on each other's spines and to punch each other's noses, and hit the Germans so hard that they once knocked a German's glass eye out." Guards also raped German women and trained dogs to bite off German men's genitals on command, Sack said.

I've met & talked with Sack and all the name Revisionists and oddly Sacks looks nothing like any of them, see below. I wonder who that Revisionist could be in soda's imagination.

Pictures? Do you know what Auschwitz looked like? Insofar as I know Schwintochlowitz/Swietochlowice and Gleiwitz was sub-camps of the industrial complex at Auschwitz-Birkenau, "Auschwitz III". I assume you have seen Auschwitz.
