The Hunger Plan

Postby Irokoin » 7 years 5 months ago (Tue Jan 05, 2016 6:28 pm)

Hi, recently came across this wikipedia article about "der Hungerplan", I've never heard about it before. I have read the whole wiki article and it seems to me that the whole idea was to make sure that the german soldiers were well fed, and to give them priority. Obviously wikipedia is constantly asserting that the end goal was to kill as many russians as possible just because, I dont know, the germans just felt like killing russians. So I was wondering what do you guys know about this, and where can I read an unbiased article/book on the matter.

Thank you in advance for your time guys.

Here is the link to the wiki article:

Please post scans of original documents - then we can have a look.

Guess it's another out of context proposal, where they don't show what's actually on the hand creating more innuendo supporting their desired narrative. It's called Eisegese and prone to wrong conclusions.

Hi Hektor, I don't have scans of the original documents, that's exactly my point. Like I said I've never heard about it before today.

I screened the Wikipseudia article and it sounds like a "worst case" scenario.

Wehrmacht and armaments industries getting priorities in food supply over populations not useful for the war effort. That's simple military logic I guess.... and I guess that belongs somehow into the WW2 section as well.

Then there is this obnoxious pictures:

This rather blurred pictur (compare to contemporary equivalents) Claims to show Soviet POW in Mauthausen. Presumably in 1945.
Well they seem to have made it rather long, but isn't the starvation in camps the result of genocidal bombing of Germany leading to a shortage of anything? So they pass on secondary victims of Allied warfare as "Nazi victims" again.
