Although 10 years old, this is the only instance I have come across of any depiction of the expulsions in film or on TV, let alone any attempt at balance.

Re: BBC programme on expulsion of Germans from Czechoslovaki
That's a good point - in all my years of watching the History Channel and the main British channels, I've never come across a programme on the expulsions, nor am I aware of any well-known films on the subject.
"if they must blame anyone, they must blame Hitler"
It was the collapsing Czech government that invited Hitler in, as we saw in another recent thread. Yes, execution of resistant (as in every country) and unfortunate reprisals did take place, but for the most part Czechia was an oasis of peace, in the eye of the storm within the war in Europe. Czech males were not forced to join the German army, and rations were among the highest in Europe next to the Germans. According to some sources war production was at some points higher even than that of Germany ; Heydrich, before his assassination had set up many reward schemes for hard work for "his" Czechs, including visists to spas and other leisure facilities.
In any case the negative aspects of the treatment of the Czechs by the Germans during the war cannot be compared to the treatment inflicted upon the Sudeten Germans after the war.
