The link didn't work for me, but I think this is what you refer to:

Holocaust e-mail from teacher sparks outrage at St. Paul school
By Doug Belden
Updated: 02/04/2009 09:55:46 PM CST

A St. Paul teacher used "extremely poor judgment" in describing a Holocaust simulation exercise to colleagues in an e-mail, school district officials said Wednesday.

"The tone was absolutely inappropriate," said spokesman Howie Padilla.

The e-mail, sent last week by eighth-grade English teacher Lee Vang to fellow employees at Hazel Park Middle School, has the subject line "Holocaust Simulation — Live out your dreams!" The message starts with the heading "Torture Time!"

The event, scheduled for Feb. 13, has students wearing yellow stars, as Jews were forced to do during World War II. According to the e-mail, it will be "a day of sheer pleasure for the staff being themselves as Nazi Officers and becoming Adolfs ... Why? Because staff need the stress relief and entertainment. J/K!!!"

The e-mail ends: "Any more ideas? Think of your most favorite student and what you'd like to do and I'll do it to these students for you. Ha!"

No parents or students received the e-mail, Padilla said. A copy was provided to KSTP-TV news, which reported on it Wednesday.

Padilla wouldn't discuss any potential punishment for Vang, but he said appropriate action would be taken.

Hazel Park Principal Coleman McDonough said Wednesday evening that Vang "regrets the whole thing. The intent of the e-mail wasn't to offend anyone. She feels bad."

Something good may come from the experience, however, McDonough said. A local Jewish education and advocacy group has agreed to come out and help the school put on the simulation.

"We're going to draw positives from it,"
McDonough said.

I'd like to also note the irony of the February 13 date. (See here: http://forum.codoh.com/images/dresden.gif).
