I wanted to bring this up for discussion and see what all of you have to say. If this is a duplicate thread you have my apologies.

I'm looking for good books to read on Holocaust Revisionism. Most of my research at this point focused on the various websites, blogs and forums that deal with this subject. I've also caught some of the Revisionist videos on YouTube.

I browsed through some of the "Holocaust Handbooks" and don't know which is a good one to start with.

Does anyone have any suggestions? I don't know much about this.

Lectures on the Holocaust is in my opinion, a great start. It's longer than most of the volumes, but it's fairly easy to read given it's writing style. Consider it as Germar giving you a a class on revisionism, in a way. Then you can ease your way into topics that interest you.

It is important to remember that there are two parts to the holohoax,
1. - what did and did not happen to the Jews in WW II
2. - the organized systematic campaign of lies to create a false narrative, i.e., the hoax

Both are interesting and most revisionist literature addresses #1. The bible on the hoax itself, i.e. #2, is 'The Hoax of the Twentieth Century, the Case Against the Presumed Extermination of European Jewry', by Arthur Butz.

Also, I think there a website, holohoax101.org, and several YouTube videos that address the hoax itself, #2, these are

I browsed through some of the "Holocaust Handbooks" and don't know which is a good one to start with.

There’s the Holocaust Handbooks catalog brochure, which gives a good overview of each volume http://holocausthandbooks.com/dl/HHB-Brochure.pdf (“Catalog” in the menu bar.) Maybe this should be made more visible/accessible for newcomers.

The following reading sequence is suggested by the Holocaust Handbooks site:

Although it’s not designed as an introductory book, Inside the Gas Chambers isn’t quite as voluminous as some of the other books and deals with most important aspects in a competent manner.

One of my friends found out about my research in this area and is openly skeptical of Holocaust Revisionism. He is encouraging me to read certain books on the "Holocaust." Naturally I'm a bit skeptical on reading these titles so I wanted to run these past the forum members here and see what you think:

Laurence Rees "Auschwitz, a New History"
Christian Gerlach "The Extermination of the European Jews"
Christopher Browning "the Origins of the Final Solution" and "Ordinary Men"
David Cesarani "Final Solution"

Has anyone read any of these and what are your opinions of them?

Check out the basis on which the claims are made in the books. When it comes to mass killing they are always citing eye witnesses.
Raul Hilberg did this in "Destruction of the European Jews" when he talks about killings.

It could be that Carlo Mattogno already refuted some of the books you named here.
As I said, watch out what and who there are citing.

My guess is that these books mentioned here used in many cases the same witnesses and confessions. Most of the time they are already dealt with in this board or in the holocaust handbooks.

If you want to get really into revisionism I highly recommend Carlo Mattogno's books . He really goes into the depth, brings up interesting sources and analyzes them.

I would always recommend The Dissolution Of Eastern European Jewry [PDF of the 2015 version] by Dr. Walter Sanning, despite now being written so long ago (1983).

Here is 2017 essay (from Inconvenient History, February 2017) by Dr. Sanning, "New Insights into the Dissolution of Eastern European Jewry"

Abstract
In 1983, Sanning's trail-blazing demographic study on the dissolution of Eastern European Jewry appeared, showing that Jewish "Holocaust" losses cannot have amounted to more than several hundred thousand victims. This report gives an update on further research since then. In particular, newly available data about the emigration of Jews from the Soviet Union and its successor states are of interest in this regard. They indicate that Sanning was correct in assuming that Soviet post-war census data about the number of Jews who survived World War Two were unreliable. The number of Jews who have emigrated since the 1970s, plus the demographic collapse Jewry experienced after the war due to an extremely low birth rate, compels the conclusion that many more Jews survived the war in the USSR than previously assumed.
