Early, (very early), gassing lie.

During WWI, Alliied propaganda accused the Austrians and Bulgarians (both allies of Germany), of killing 3,000 Serbs in Belgrade by gassing them in a church. Has anyone heard this before ? From the book "Atrocity Propaganda 1914-1919" by James Morgan Read. It sounds like this may have inspired some of the later lies.

Yes, I am familiar with this story. There was an article about it by Robert Faurisson in the Journal of Historical Review back in 1991.

I recall the same Newpapers spreading that kind of atrocity propaganda about the Austrians and Bulgarians during World War One... Doing the same during world war two. This time against the Germans involving Jews of course. It seems they weren't that creative, when creating their atrocity narratives. Unbelievable what those engaging in gas libel are doing. What's more concerning is how easy they got away with this. I mean any Historian worth it salts should have noticed that there is something fishy with those allegations. But the majority didn't even bother to point this out. And that's what they teach kids in schools, peddle through media, etc.
