Possible New Early 'Extermination' Assertion

In the course of doing some research for a book that I am writing about Revilo Oliver I came across a rather startling (in how explicit it is) quotation about the claim that the Wehrmacht and the SS (both by implication) were exterminating of the jews from mid-1941 that I don't recall seeing cited anywhere in revisionist or holocaustian literature. Anyway I reproduce it below for the sake of helping others if it is new. I note within it we find a few claims prefigured that came to prominence much later such as 'being buried alive', 'being burned alive', 'complete extermination', 'flames to consume the hangmen of humanity' [a-la 'holocaust'] etc. Of course these are probably related to the Einsatzgruppen and Sonderkommando units, but it does seem to me, as a non-specialist, to prefigure the later claims made during the war, Nuremberg and after.

'Jewish brothers of the whole world! In the enslaved countries Fascism has introduced its "New Order" with the help of the gallows, fire and violence. For the Jewish people blood-thirsty Hitlerism has outlined a programme for the complete extermination of Jews by all the methods known to the Fascist hangmen ***.

Jewish brothers! The Jewish people, scattered by fate thoughout the world, have closely bound up their culture with the culture of the whole world. In the countries enslaved by the Fascists our unfortunate brothers were the first victims. The blood of Jews, tortured to death in the burned synagogues of Rotterdam, calls aloud to the whole world. So do the thousands of nameless graves in the towns of Poland, where the Fascist monsters buried their victims alive.

The blood which has bee shed calls out not for fasts and prayers but for vengeance; not ritual candles but flames to consume the hangmen of humanity; not tears but hatred and resistance to the monsters; not words but deeds. It must be now or never.

In the tragic history of our long-suffering people, from the Roman Empire to the Middle Ages, it is impossible to find a time when there was such sorrow and misery as Fascism has brought to mankind, with particular ferocity for the Jewish people.

Intoxicated by blood and violence, the Fascist monsters have now attacked the one country where the Jewish people have found a real motherland which offered them a splendid life, freedom and a flourishing national culture. Here, for the first time in thousands of years, Jews felt at home, equals among equals. In the fertile fields of the Soviet Union, for the first time the Jewish tiller of soil took his place at the wheel of the tractor. In the factories and mills Jews played their part. The doors of the universities were open to them, they entered the Red Army, worked in the mines, helped in the laboratories.

The Jewish people found a place for themselves in the great family of peoples in the U. S. S. R. All these peoples have, in a quarter of a century of fraternal collaboration, built up their security, their future and their national freedom. Now their fields are being drenched in blood. villages and towns which have temporarily fallen into the bloody clutches of the Hitlerite monsters are being destroyed. Highways are strewn with the graves of savagely tortured citizens.

But the great freedom-loving Soviet people and the Red Army are displaying miracles of valour and heroism. The Red Army is fighting not only for the peoples of the U. S. S. R. but for the honour of all mankind. The brown plague which brought the whole world such sorrow and tears must find its final grave on the bloodstained fields of the Soviet Union.

In the battles against Hitlerism the Red Army is bringing forth heroes such as the history of mankind has never known. In the lists of these men we read with pride the names of Jews who have gone forth to defend human culture against Fascist barbarians. It is with pride that we see their names among those fighting the Hitlerite gangsters in the air, on sea and on land. It is with profound admiration that we see their names among the guerillas. Shoulder to shoulder with the men, the finest daughters of our people are also fighting.

Jewish brothers of the world! They are fighting for you, too. They are offering up their young lives for your well-being, too. The brown plague, which becomes all the more savage when it nears its end, will reach across the ocean as well. As long as Fascism exists all mankind is in peril. Our call is to warn you. Our appeal goes out to you as a clarion call for resistance and vengeance. Let ever day bring you closer to the hour of reckoning with the enemy. Let the sacred flame burn brighter in our hearts with every hour. Let every minute find you ready for action.

You must do everything in your power to disrupt the economic resources of the Fascists in whatever part of the world you are. Penetrate into the most vital branches of the death-dealing industries of the Hitlerites and paralyse them at all costs. Boycott their products everywhere. Proclaim aloud everywhere and in all tongues the outrageous atrocities perpetrated by the Hitlerite cannibals.

Act with the noble self-sacrifice of the indomitable guerilla fighters. Not a single Jew must die without taking vengeance on the Fascists for shedding innocent blood. Develop everywhere widespread propaganda for solidarity with and active assistance for the Soviet Union, which is putting up heroic resistance to the bearers of death and destruction. Mankind will be freed of the brown plague. Your duty is to help and exterminate it. Do your bit in this sacred war.

Professor Mikhoels I am guessing is the Samuel Mikhoels who founded the Jewish Anti-facist committee in April 1942, that spent a lot of time trying to mobilize world opinion through use of such press releases and atrocity claims. What you quote suggests that this activity began de facto a lot earlier

Well I am aware of quite a few early claims of this kind, although not so explicit, in British anti-German propaganda of this kind from the early 30s, but I hadn't come across this particular one before and as I said it was a bit of a fortunate accident.

However your point is quite valid in that you could say that the holocaustians could argue this is a reflection of the activities of the Einsatzgruppen in particular, but I think that is stretching it a little thin intellectually even though it is a valid argument. By suggesting that it is just a reflection of reported events that were styled propagandistically the argument ignores the evolution of the 'holocaust' charge that Mattogno in particular, as I recall, has spent a lot of time discussing in his many books on individual camps (particularly those of the Auschwitz complex), but which orthodox historians have a tendency, at least until fairly recently from what I've read, to ignore or minimize by claiming 'gradual discovery'. In essence the argument does place the story in the context of the time it was written, but ignores the later evolution of the 'holocaust' thesis (which is like it or not is a conspiracy theory and hence should be analyzed like one) from the same Soviet sources. You correctly mention the JAFC [if you look at who signed the quoted article/petition/proclamation and the JAFC's active members then one sees a couple of the same important names] and that does actually lead into a fair powerful point in that the JAFC was a very important factor in justifying and spreading the 'holocaust' charge notably in the 'The Black Book' published in 45/46 (which if you look at the notes actually uses quite a lot of the British anti-German propaganda from the early 30s as citations that I mentioned before) with this newspaper article/petition/proclamation (etc) obviously being a forerunner of the JAFC's pretty well documented campaign [i.e. it appeared at perhaps the crux of the change from villifying the Germans in general regarding the Reich's policy on jews to making specific atrocity propaganda charges concerning this].

I looked at the signatories of this anti-German screed, and I wasn't shocked at all to see the name Ilya Ehrenburg, the most virulent member of the Jewish Soviet propaganda Ministry. In all likelihood, Ehrenburg wrote this hysterical call to genocide. It has his well-honed style. He was the author of the viciously anti-German propaganda leaflet, "Kill!", which this piece seems to echo. You won't find anything written by the Nazis against the Jews which even comes close to Ehrenburg's anti-German vitriol.

Of course, Ehrenburg, was among the first to go on the speaking tours with fake bars of soap made from dead Jews in the concentration camp. In 1944, he was also the first one, I believe, to make the "Six Million" allegation against the Nazis. Right after the war, he teamed up with fellow Jewish communist, Vasily (Iosif Solomonovich) Grossman, and co-authored the "Black Book", which became the touchstone for all of the Holocaust mythology.

Here's a sampling of what this psychopathic liar wrote in his infamous "Kill!" essay, which sounds a lot like the one you quote above:

"The Germans are not human beings. From now on, the word 'German' is the most horrible curse. From now on, the word 'German' strikes us to the quick. We have nothing to discuss. We will not get excited. We will kill. If you have not killed at least one German a day, you have wasted that day ... If you cannot kill a German with a bullet, then kill him with your bayonet. If your part of the front is quiet and there is no fighting, then kill a German in the meantime ... If you have already killed a German, then kill another one - there is nothing more amusing to us than a heap of German corpses. Don't count the days, don't count the kilometers. Count only one thing: the number of Germans you have killed. Kill the Germans! ... - Kill the Germans! Kill!"

It probably was Ehrenburg, but it is worth bearing in mind that many Soviet works from the pre-revolutionary days to the fall of the Soviet Union were written cooperatively (per marxist dogma). For example the 1988 Soviet biography of Felix Dzerzhinsky that I am currently reading was written by 12 different people! That said Denis Hill, a British communist and senior trade unionist, in his 1989 (the date is off-hand) memoirs 'Seeing Red, Being Green' notes that in Communist circles even if things are written by committee: it nearly always ends up with one person actually writing it. That said however: I think although it might well have been Ehrenberg, it could also have been a writer copying his style (not hard to do if you take it seriously) to which Ehrenberg merely affixed his name.

However that is detail, which doesn't reflect on the article's content other than to suggest that it was simply a matter of Soviet propaganda policy. When I get time I will go over my notes on and collection of British and American anti-German propaganda from the 20s-40s and see if there is a link to Soviet propaganda output. Since as I remember there are quite a few similar early claims in there that need to get aired.

It's of course a useful myth to tell that the enemy is after killing you all, when you try to motivate your supporters and recruit further partisans.
At 3:30ff they make the vile statement that "Vilna was liberated in 1944 by the Red Army" and there is a lot of fake pics also in the video among other rather obnoxious statements.

Of course they introduce this as a sign of the sensitivity of this "literary genius".
