Governor Ron DeSantis Signs Anti-Semitism Protections Bill CS/CS/HB 741
https://www.flgov.com/2019/05/31/govern ... cs-hb-741/

You just can't turn your back on the political whores who infest state and Federal legislatures.

It is obvious that the vast majority of Americans are not anti-Semitic. Overt acts of Anti-semitism have become very rare in the USofA.

But there is a new "working definition" of anti-Semitism used in the Florida legislation which vastly expands the term to cover the most expansive dream of the most paranoid Zionist fanatic.

These include:
Making mendacious, dehumanizing, demonizing, or stereotypical allegations about Jews as such or the power of Jews as collective — such as, especially but not exclusively, the myth of Jews controlling the media, economy, government or other societal institutions.

Accusing Jews as a people of being responsible for real or imagined wrongdoing committed by a single Jewish person or group, or even for acts committed by non-Jews.

Denying the fact, scope, mechanisms (e.g. gas chambers) or intentionality of the genocide of the Jewish people at the hands of National Socialist Germany and its supporters and accomplices during World War II (the Holocaust).

Accusing the Jews as a people, or Israel as a state, of inventing or exaggerating the Holocaust.

Accusing Jewish citizens of being more loyal to Israel, or to the alleged priorities of Jews worldwide, than to the interests of their own nations.

Denying the Jewish people their right to self-determination, e.g., by claiming that the existence of a State of Israel is a racist endeavor.

Applying double standards by requiring of it [the State of Isreal] a behavior not expected or demanded of any other democratic nation.

Holding Jews collectively responsible for actions of the state of Israel.

The bill goes on to "protect" Zionist students from "anti-Semitic attacks" by Palestinians who express the idea that shooting Palestinian school
children is wrong.

CS/CS/HB 741 adds religion as a protected class with regard to discrimination against students and employees in Florida’s K-20 public education system. The bill requires a public K-20 educational institution to treat discrimination by students or employees or resulting from institutional policies motivated by anti-Semitism in an identical manner to discrimination motivated by race.

Finally, the bill is directed at speech-
Rhetorical and physical manifestations of antisemitism are directed toward Jewish or non-Jewish individuals and/or their property.
So, telling your Catholic neighbor that Netanyahu's soldiers should not shoot students is a violation of the "Anti-Semitism Protections Bill" CS/CS/HB 741.

It is a shame that groups which used to defend the Constitutional rights of free speech and freedom of the press nowe let this law pass without
comment. The ACLU did seem to care about THIS Florida law. See: https://www.aclufl.org/en/press-releases

DeSantis claims that the law is necessary because of a "troubling rise in anti-Semitic incidents."

This based on the unreliable reports by the ADL. The ADL lives off of fear mongering: it means more donations.

Ironically the ADL claims that that widespread concern with the Right-wing extremist regime of Benjamin Netanyahu is "Anti-Semitic."
Thus justifying suppressing political and historical debate here in America. When you are an ADL fundraiser...at least the political
whores of Florida will act on your claims.

This matches a bill he signed a while back MANDATING holohoax education to be taught in Florida schools. SE Florida has a bumper crop of rich Jews that have probably been throwing a lot of money at this governor.

"Antisemitism" is as vague and thus dangerous a term as hate speech, white supremacy, or any other weasel word the left comes up with to silence and control people. Nobody dedicated to freedom should be entertaining this.

Sorry, Zündel's Judge Thomas took judicial notice of the gas chambers! It's irrefutable and no reasonable person could even entertain doubts, let alone ask questions! This forum is a Nazi hideaway for future mass murderers who deny the gas chambers so they can revive the gas chambers!

Finally, the bill is directed at speech-

America starting slowly to take on the shape of continental Europe, banning all & sundry that could be merely construed in such a way.

Actually, I think this kind of legislation will be counterproductive in the end. Now you can shut up public debate for a while with this. But it will move the matter to the private sphere. And people will discuss this on a one on one basis. This is actually more powerful than hearing something on the news. What makes the news powerful is that lots of people hear something in the same time frame. But it is the gossip that gives it the real power. One one conversation is far more powerful in itself than having read something in the paper or heard it on radio/TV.

This legislation in itself is an outrage. Since it privileges Jews over any other group. And instead of improving the relationship it will actually raise suspicion in the general public. That is of course if more people start thinking and discussing issues.... Which is exactly why they will have to go for more repressive measures in terms of freedom of expression and freedom of association.

In theory they can have 100% control on all big internet platform. AI picking up and blocking any dissenters. But the big issue is the dinner table conversation between family members and/or friends. What's discussed there can not really be controlled (yet). And then there is the issue of passing on information in a subtle way. And concerning the JQ people will notice that Jews have too much power in several sectors and that this is somehow linked to social ills, degeneration, decadence and phenomena of decay. Potentially such issues could be resolved via open debate and rational decision making. But this is exactly what a number of very influential people DOES NOT want. So in the end this will come to almost completely unpredictable results.
