I've looked at Burton H. Klein's book, 'Germany's Economic Preparations for War' (1959) and I see Taylor cites it. (I can post some sections of it as images if anyone's interested.) It seems very professional and authoritative in its conclusions.
Could anybody more familiar with the historiography tell me a little more?
- Are there other mainstream sources who refer to it?
- Are there other comparable studies, or data sets?
- What sources are preferred by those historians who attempt to argue, using economic and industrial data, that "Germany was aggressively preparing for world conquest" (etc)?
Klein, Germany's Economic Preparations - similar studies?
