Armenian Genocide Debate Persists
Letter by Anil Bora Inan
Vice Consul Consulate General
of the Republic of Turkey
Los Angeles
"Armenian Genocide Debate ...? Meaning, some "debate"?
After going on about it being a shame Armenians lost lives and how Turks lost lives and how disease and famine were a factor in the deaths he gets around to saying -
Armenian claims of genocide, however, have never been historically or legally substantiated which leaves one to question the ulterior motives of those advancing these allegations.
Following that extraordinary statement he ends up telling the reader how the Turks have opened up their archives to researchers and a proposal by Turkish government officials for an assembly between the Armenians and Turks to investigate the claims and to make it open to international auspices.
Whoa, is that an important turn of events? A letter selected and published by the Los Angeles Times denying the alleged mass extermination of Armenians? It's called a - precedence.
If the Germans don't want to get involved in something like that then the United States and Catholic Church should demand such a process since they are also played out as primary responsible parties in the Jewish Holocaust story.
Some certain folk must have shivered when they read that in the Los Angeles Times.
