Unofficial guideline for posting links

When you post a link to an external resource in the forum please try to enclose the link with the following BBCode:

[url]https://exampledomain.tld/long-article-name-which-will-be-truncated-by-the-board-software[/url]

You obviously have to replace the example link with the one you are going to post.

This will cause the link to not be malformed making it easier for people to copy posts. Et cetera. The board software automatically truncates long web addresses.

Example link which has not been enclosed with BBCode:
https://exampledomain.tld/long-article- ... d-software

A link which is enclosed by the BBCode:
https://exampledomain.tld/long-article-name-which-will-be-truncated-by-the-board-software
