Revisionism progresses?

Having once believed, like everybody else, that the Holocaust happened I now find myself, having consorted many of the revisionist sites with an open mind, that the genocide did not occur. However, I'm disturbed by how dogmatic much of both the left and right wings are on the matter - utterly unwilling to even consider its veracity. Even the historical layman has an opinion on the "bigotry" of the revisionist viewpoint. How might revisionism progress from its primarily underground core? How can it advance without attracting smears from all and sundry?

I am not quite sure whether I understand this.

Let’s see:
A bigot is a prejudiced person who is intolerant of any opinions differing from his own.
Bigotry is the intolerance and prejudice of a bigot.
Does this sound about right?

Even the historical layman has an opinion on the "bigotry" of the revisionist viewpoint.

Is that right? Is that the historical layman’s opinion? No kidding!
Maybe the revisionist’s “bigotry” is a reaction to something? An “Ur-Schrei” (Original Scream)? A voice of protest against injustice?

How might revisionism progress from its primarily underground core? How can it advance without attracting smears from all and sundry?

I don’t think that revisionism is an organized effort aiming for an advancement.

If the revisionist is wrong, then his views will die. There is nothing to worry about. No laws, no jail terms are necessary.

And if his view are correct, they will be accepted in the end, sooner or later, and nothing will stop this.

And in the meantime I just have a hell of a good time to give the orthodox Holocaust story a skeptical look, here and there (like the one of the human corpse which keeps on burning on its own once the body fat catches fire, like a piece of paper ).

It's hardly 'underground' in the US. There's meetings, conferences (open to public), books for sale, websites, men & women living their lives....you and me having a discussion.

Ultimately, it comes down to simple science, logic, and rational thought. My sign off signature here is:

'If it can't happen as alleged, then it didn't'

That about sums it up for the most part. The allegations are preposterous and defy laws of science, logic, & rational thought... simple. They cannot be sustained in perpetuity.
The 'holocau$t' Industry tries to stop investigation through intimidation so they can maintain their cash cow, political influence, and social preferences.

As for allegations of enormous mass shooting of Jews, well, show me the verifiable criminal investigation, show me the forensic physical evidence that would necessarily exist...if true. It doesn't or we would be seeing it.

What's really revealing is the fact that there are laws which make this discussion ILLEGAL in most of Europe.
