Quite untrue because most people believe that the terrible pics of epidemic devastation at Belsen and Dachau are crystal-clear graphic evidence of the Holocaust. In other words, the common folks falsely believe that they have seen the Holocaust with their own eyes almost every day during their whole life and that the evil Holocaust deniers are just a gang of anti-Semitic haters who reject the obvious for ideological reasons. In their eyes, the case is closed and doesn't need any further investigation or even consideration because "what the eyes see, the mind believes " and they have seen the Holocaust many, many times (they believe). By that means (the massive use of miscaptioned pics), they've been induced to feel "contempt prior to investigation," the best conditioning for deafness and "everlasting ignorance."

"There is a principle which is a bar against all information, which is proof against all arguments, and which cannot fail to keep a man in everlasting ignorance --- that principle is contempt prior to investigation." — Herbert Spencer

Well, it's snippets on film footage. They can see what's on the footage, but they don't experience this kind of events every day. So they got no idea why something this may have happened.... The imagery is designed to get a buy in with the vast majority of the audience quite quickly. Shock and we, if you want. Most people will fall for this and let their guards against trickery down. Clearly this also happened right from the beginning... Lots of skeptics dropped the ball after seeing dozens of emaciated corpses on photos or film. It's similar to those that didn't immediately fall for the Coronavirus-Swindle... After they were told that their aunt died of Covid, they turned into real Corona's Witnesses ever after. At least most of them. It was quite difficult to get them to use reason again. When you asked them "How do you know she had COVID"... The answer was that the doctor told her so. When told that there is no way to diagnose this, they simply told you that you are no doctor and that they 'trust the science'... bla, bla, bla.
No doctor was trained to diagnose COVID. Most have little knowledge about molecular biology as well. All they can do is read a lab report. They have no clue what the methodological issues with the testing procedure is and there are actually so many... you probably loose the attention of them quickly. Why can't the test do what they claim... Except that they have never proven that SARSCOV2 exists and does as claimed... They have no clue what the various sources of the RNA-sequences they are looking for are or can be. What they do is finding the word "Edmond" in a book and then claim that they have found a a copy of a specific document. An Average Joe that has basic knowledge of Logic should be able to see that this is nonsense.

Any Westerner hears of the Holocaust almost every day and sees pics of emaciated inmates supposed to prove it very often. Not a daily experience. But a very usual experience. One can bet that most Westerners see such pics more often than they see the sun move accross the sky.
"[Austen Chamberlain] has done western civilization a great service by refuting at least one of the slanders against the Germans
because a civilization which leaves war lies unchallenged in an atmosphere of hatred and does not produce courage in its leaders to refute them
is doomed.

But it isn't experience... He sees some cultural production. If he was present he would see people that are healthy, sick, malnourished of whom some have died. That isn't "experiencing the Holocaust"... It's imagery that guides people into jumping on conclusions. It's kind of what cults do, to hook people into them. They also give you an experience of 'sorts'... But it all works on the associative mind of people... Appeals to emotion, repetition and 'black and white' brushing of reality.

Looking at the sun moving accross the sky is also imagery, celestial imagery provided by Mother Nature.
