Should There be a CODOH App?

Postby JLAD Prove Me Wrong » 4 years 7 months ago (Fri Oct 19, 2018 1:20 am)

Creating a CODOH app would serve two purposes.

The zionist media have a tantrum about it, causing people to research the CODOH and Bradley Smith.

Revisionists would use it like any other app. It would work like the website, but as an app.

Let the voting commence!

What's the purpose and proposed application of this app please? I can already get on Codoh/Forum on the move, when the mood takes me so why an app? Not sure it's going to draw in any more readers.

I explained the two functions, see above.

I would be like the CODOH Forum website, but you users would click on the app, just like when you click on the Facebook app.

I think this would be a great addition to CODOH. There is already a YouTube, Facebook, and a Tiwtter for CODOH - why not an app?

JLAD:
Walk us through it.
You're assuming everyone knows what you mean by an "app". It's a rather vague term, they can do many things depending on the intent.

Tell us specifically what a CODOH app would do vs. not having such an app.

Thanks, M1

I was thinking of an iOS app for mobile devices. The app would keep users automatically logged in. When the actual website is used, one gets logged out. This would not be the case with the app.

Good idea in theory, unless you visit websites like CODOH on public wifi hotspots. Anybody on the network would be able to track you through such an app.

Having a app wouldn't really make much of a difference. I go on here all the time on my phone anyway really no need for a app. Plus I think it would cost a little to do that. I would rather have codoh put their money into publishing more books and documentaries then blow that money on a app.

Yeah, except that you can modify a web browser to be more secure & protect your privacy. I don't think most people in Europe who visit CODOH would want to risk this on a potential app.

Look up "Telegram Messenger". It protects privacy and refuses to hand over user data to governments. Doing this may be a useful addtion to the app.

Q: Do you process data requests?
Secret chats use end-to-end encryption, thanks to which we don't have any data to disclose.

To protect the data that is not covered by end-to-end encryption, Telegram uses a distributed infrastructure. Cloud chat data is stored in multiple data centers around the globe that are controlled by different legal entities spread across different jurisdictions. The relevant decryption keys are split into parts and are never kept in the same place as the data they protect. As a result, several court orders from different jurisdictions are required to force us to give up any data.

Thanks to this structure, we can ensure that no single government or block of like-minded countries can intrude on people's privacy and freedom of expression. Telegram can be forced to give up data only if an issue is grave and universal enough to pass the scrutiny of several different legal systems around the world.

To this day, we have disclosed 0 bytes of user data to third parties, including governments.

Even if something were to be made for CODOH, I doubt whether such an app would ever be published by Google Play or the iTunes App Store.

If anonymity or regional bans are an issue, try Tor or a VPN.
