Hello everyone.
I just finished watching the movie "Downfall" from 2004, and wanted to open a discussion of what this movie did right and wrong in terms of historical accuracy.
Of course, this movie stands out from all the anti-Hitler/Nazi crap Hollywood and other media outlets like to push, but still retains the shackles of censored history. Although some artistic considerations were made due to this being a movie, I do think it's valuable to point out the truth and falsity for everyone's knowledge.
In my own findings, I believe Adolf Hitler's and Magda Goebbels final interaction is incorrect. When Mrs. Goebbels confronts Hitler for the final time, she falls to her knees, and begs him to leave Berlin. Adolf Hitler looks at Otto Günsche with disappointment and replies to Mrs. Goebbels: "Tomorrow millions of people will curse me, but fate has taken it's course." Then gently pushes her away from him. If I recall correctly, according to David Irving's book "Hitler's War," Adolf Hitler tells her that he must remove any obstacles between Germany and peace whilst helping her up.
What do you think about this movie, and what did it portray correctly and incorrectly?

Re: Downfall (2004) Facts and Fiction
There are so many errors in this movie that I've just seen from clips. I'd have to watch the full movie and get back to you.
'Aryan' does not mean 'white'. The entire concept of 'whiteness' is racist. Hitler never identified as 'white'. Hitler was a radical leftist anti-racist, and I can prove it. Contact me privately for quotes.
