In the night from Sep 3 to 4 the RAF bombed the harbour of Wilhelmshaven (ships and the oil refineries). So the first action of the Britons after they declared Germany the war was an air raid attack against undefended people. Anyhow, it was war relevant industry and so it was no war crime (comparable to Coventry).
For other attacks I will see what I can find.

Coventry wasn't a war crime either. This attack was reasonable but it can't have been the only one. What we need to prove with a little more detail is that the British consistently bombed Germany for 6 months while the Germans did nothing against Britain, and nothing against France except reject peace offers. Also how the heck did they get to Wilhemshafen (wherever that is) without flying over neutral territory? There are several books on this subject. Many about the bombing and several about the peace offers.
