Stickied threads - discussion

Postby Webmaster » 5 months 1 week ago (Mon Dec 26, 2022 9:41 pm)

Q: Should the threads be unstickied and replaced by one thread that links to the most important threads?

At the top of this forum are multiple stickied threads that show up before new threads. As of now, they are:

  1. !! VIDEO: INSIDE AUSCHWITZ, Virtual Tour, What they DON'T tell you. !!
  2. Anne Frank’s Diary Gains ‘Co-Author’ / and more
  3. Auschwitz 'In Memoriam'
  4. Concentration Camp Vital Statistics
  5. Cyanide Chemistry at Auschwitz
  6. Nuremberg - Fair Trial or Show Trial ?
  7. Simple question: What happened to the people who were sent to the camps? / 'Where did they go?'
  8. The JEWISH REVISIONISTS thread

Should these threads be unstickied and replaced by one single thread that lists the most important with descriptions? This would reduce clutter so users do not need to scroll down as far to see new threads.
Some of those threads haven't been touched in years.

Also if you would like to suggest certain threads to be added/removed from the list of most important threads, comment below. Links to basic introductory material and the Holocaust Handbooks will also be included.

Comments appreciated.

I like the "Cleanup" approach (replacing with one thread), perhaps just use a title that really highlights the first (stickied) thread up top, so that "newbies" are likely to check it out. Thanks!

Any suggestions on what threads to add?

The goal of these stickies seems to be to highlight certain "classic" threads, presumably for the benefit of people who are new to the forum or new to revisionism in general. In which case I think it would make sense to consolidate things and just have a thread with links to some of the foundational threads on major topics. That way we could add to the list freely without having to worry about cluttering things up.

The sticky feature could still be used for threads where we expect to see ongoing updates. For example, we could have a sticky for developments on the free speech/legal front. Or war criminal prosecutions. Or maybe new revisionist books.

I think it's a good idea. I agree there are too many right now. At most there should be like 3 stickied threads, with 1 being a sort of intro / read me first with links to basic info articles / threads.

Some threads I made that could possibly be added:

Official list of Revisionist scholars persecuted / imprisoned for questioning the "Holocaust"
viewtopic.php?t=12642

War-time German documents & writings mentioning the "Final Solution"
viewtopic.php?t=12296

The rapid proliferation of Holocaust skepticism across the world
viewtopic.php?t=12194

Complete list of Jewish Expulsions / Jews expelled from over 1,000 places in history
viewtopic.php?t=12596

The Known Death Totals at German Camps
viewtopic.php?t=10198

I might think of more later

That would be:

Upcoming Holocaust Handbooks
viewtopic.php?t=8867
"There is a principle which is a bar against all information, which is proof against all arguments, and which cannot fail to keep a man in everlasting ignorance -- that principle is contempt prior to investigation."
— Herbert Spencer

NOTE: I am taking a leave of absence from revisionism to focus on other things. At this point, the ball is in their court to show the alleged massive pits full of human remains at the so-called "extermination camps." After 8 decades they still refuse to do this. I wonder why...

Bottom 3 threads you mentioned should stay stickies, but definitely replace the others.
