"The Europäische Wirtschaftsgemeinschaft" - True or false?

Postby Spect3r » 6 years 7 months ago (Mon Nov 07, 2016 6:00 am)

"The Europäische Wirtschaftsgemeinschaft" was a conference that supposedly happened in Berlin during 1942 where was defined what would later come to be the European Union.

A 122 pages document about it can be seen here: https://burgelijkongehoorzaam.files.wor ... s-1942.pdf

Does any of you know if this is real? Did this conference really happened or is this Anti EU propaganda?

I recall an Oliver Janich having written about this. German book "Die Vereinigten Staaten von Europa".

I don't know the document. But it's plausible that the National Socialists would make plans on what their relationships with the European Countries would be after they'd retreat from the countries they occupied as well as with their Allies and neutrals.

Thank you for your reply and i am very sorry for taking me so long to reply back (lot of work lately :( ).

Well the thing is that this was more than just how to keep relations with Allies and Neutrals.
They discussed: Single European Market, Single European Currency, European Road System... is basically a blueprint for how we know EU nowadays.

And thanks for the link... i don't speak German, but i will see if there is an English version of it.

As always, it's best to get some original documents. I recall the name Walter Funk. And apparently there are some documents by him. And I presume also about him. Profound knowledge of the German language should be useful. No idea if the Janich book is available in English or not. But searching is worth a try.

I'm pretty certain there is a lot of original documents dealing with NS economic policies, but that field doesn't get the same attention then other issues related to National Socialism.

He was a big shot in the Nazi regime so indeed there must be plenty about him.
I actually was being stupid as i was focusing my searches on this Conference exclusively instead of searching by the people behind it.

A quick Google search of "Walter Funk European Union" gives back this site
http://www.eu-facts.org/en/roots/

Although is clearly an Anti EU website (what kinda doesnt answer my question if is propaganda or not) it lists a bunch of links to speeches and documents related to this subject made by many different people within the Nazi party, with a lot of them are in English, dating back as far as September of 1939.

Indeed, the Economic Politics of the 3rd Reich dont get much attention and the main reason for that is to avoid that many companies and powerful rich people (including many Zionist Jews) have to answer some very awkward questions.

Rather late in replying but I saw a copy of the document 30 years ago. A friend tracked it down as he said it was 'mysteriously' missing from the British Library. A translation is on the bilderberg.org website, altho how good that translation is, I dont know as I can't read German.
