Now that aerial photos have become trendy again, readers may want to check the following site with dozens of Auschwitz-Birkenau reconnaissance photographs. The 1979 booklet by Brugioni/Poirier is also there.

If it can't happen as alleged, then it didn't.
Interesting is this picture:
http://www.globalsecurity.org/intell/li ... 9-12_1.jpg
It is captioned:
Photo 9: Dismantling of Gas Chambers II and III,
21 December 1944
and shows Auschwitz/Birkenau under bomb attack.
Actually the picture was taken on Sept. 13, 1944, as marked on the picture itself.
And the text says:
This is confusing. The dates of the caption and on the picture don't match.
And according to Danuta's "Chronicle" there was still a lot of the alleged gassings going on after Sept. 13, 1944. Also the picture does not seem to show the introduction chutes for Zyklon B. At least I could not make them out using a magnifying glass.
Anyway, these are interesting pictures, and thanks for posting the URL.

Photo 9 details Nazi efforts to dismantle the technical equipment at Gas Chambers and Crematoria II and III. We can trace the dismantling of the special security fencing around these installations, the removal of the roofs and the underground dressing rooms, the dismantling of the chimneys, and the filling of the pit to the rear of Gas Chamber and Crematorium III. As far as we know, this is a unique photo of that activity.

Great site. Leave it up to the faithful to put up a site that revisionists can refer people over to as they do demolition on Holocaust credibility.

On checking out the site under the clickable - The Holocaust Revisited - I think some of the copy from the original has been added onto and or just plain altered. There are some photos that have been cropped in relation to what they are in the printed report and at least one new one, the Jan.14, 1945 photo with the snow in it. I'll check it out as soon as I dig out a copy buried during a move.
It could be that Brugioni, one of the authors of the report is directly involved with what's on this site. He used the Jan. 14, 1945 photo in an article in Scientific American a few years ago.
Brugioni also, not that many years ago, put out a book 'Air Photo Fakery' or something like that. Using the name "Fakery" in his title is 'poetic' to say the least.
