Irving's site is closed to all but previous members

Postby theTRUTH » 1 decade 7 years ago (Fri Dec 02, 2005 1:40 am)

Irving's site is now a "protected area" that requires a user name and password and which prohibits access to those who did not previously join. He may have decided to close the site to all but members to show the court he intens to "cleanse" the site of all references to the Holohoax if he is allowed to leave the country.

Is there anyone here who can get in? It may be that he has hived this area off, but the bigger likelihood is that he has been done over by his ISP...

Just as we always suspected. Irving is a hypocrite and a coward.

I took a backup with htrack just after his lawyers announced his 'strategy' one week ago. Well, not that I'd refer to it proudly in the future but anyway...
Irving's strategy will probably give a big push to those who wish to maintain or reinforce those laws (or perhaps even to adopt it in the UK). But as he always prefered to do it his own way I presume he doesn't care.
But as I said the worst is that this strategy may fail for himself; they have no reason to let him go away just because he's temporarely ready to sing the song. In all the cases even if he is released he will be unable to raise money in the future and his books will not reapear on shelves..

Perhaps if we feel so brave we could volunteer to take Irving's place in jail for a year. Or we all could protest his imprisonment in front of your country's Austrian Embassy. I know I would be stoned for doing such a thing in my country but I do admire anyone who volunteers to help.

There seem to be some strange affairs around Irving. But, a coward he most certainly is not.

You did what I considered doing but didn't and now it is too late.
Chammer, would it be possible for you to make Irving's website's
contents available at some server so other people could download it?
It contains much interesting material.

Yes, but it's preferable if you open a storage location somewhere and give me the path so I can upload it. By email it's impossible.

I never said that he was a coward, but rather that he was shortsight.
He had the courage to change his mind in the late 80's, something that most historians wouldn't have the courage to do.
However his strategy will not help him; even if I'm wrong and he is released, how will he survive if nobody contribute for him?
It's not because he recant that his books will be place back on the shelves of bookstores.

In my university days I would have been able to gather a sufficient army to march on the Austrian Embassy in London. However we could all do something using the technology at our disposal.

Ok, I'll arrange it on Monday and will give you the path. Just one thing,
how much space would be needed?

Thanks in advance.

It says about 648 MB on my HD and once zipped it will be probably les than 500 MB. I know that there is some URL where you pay a few dollars to get a storage access, but of course I can hardly imagine to transfer that without using ftp. Add '[email protected]' to my username

There seems to be another thread that it's back up? Either way, I'm new on these forums and I have my own dedicated server which I'd like to start utilizing for websites about the holocaust and the third reich, among other things. If you want I can host that file on there or maybe we can just copy the site so the entire thing doesn't have to be downloaded.
