Go on google and search for proxy servers, this will bring up various options. I have used Expat Shield which seems to work. Please note that when installing you should NOT click yes to everything otherwise it might make all sorts of changes to your browser etc. Read each step carefully before agreeing or not. The trade off is they will show ads, but that is a small price to pay for being able to watch stuff from a secure shield.

If you experience censorship problems try hooktube. Use any youtube link and replace "you" with "hook".

I use keepvid.com or en.savefrom.net for downloads. Sometimes one needs to try several times to get the download going, apparently they are attempts to throttle certain videos.
