Inbound train records, but no outbound records. Why?

Hilberg also found some of these few preserved schedules, and reproduced them in his book Sonderzüge nach Auschwitz.

Given the theory of Treblinka as a transit and delousing camp is correct, this would make sense.
The Jewish Ghettos in Warsaw and elsewhere were emptied and the Jews were brought to Treblinka, Belzec and Sobibor, where they stayed for one day or so (as grenadier mentioned above) and then sent further eastward.
It's obvious that the trains had to go back to Warsaw etc. empty, in order to bring the next trainload of deported Jews to Treblinka.

Those who had been deloused there would of course have had to be transported further on by clean trains, because otherwise the whole delousing procedure would have been in vain.
That's the way delousing works: you arrive on the dirty side, have to undress, get deloused, get on the clean side new (cleaned) clothes and continue the transport in clean trains.


Anyway the different railway gauges (standard gauge and wide gauge) made the use of two different sets of trains (one to Treblinka and one from Treblinka) necessary. That's why Belzec, Treblinka and Sobibor were located along the German-Russian frontier.

What was true for the transportation of freight was also true for the transportation of deportees.

Also we now know that many survivors of Treblinka told interviewers including Spielberg they went into Treblinka and then were removed on the same train some hours later.

Also I wonder if any train records (very different to a schedule) actually say Treblinka at all. Probably easy for someone to answer this please. I have a theory that when people say they went to Treblinka they were on a train into Malkinia Junction which then shot down the side track to Treblinka for reasons of the former being too busy to accommodate etc. In my view Treblinka was never a destination just a stop-over before returning to Malkinia and onwards to their eastern territories destination.

Does anyone have or know of an actual train schedule? There are the fahrplanaordnungs which are timetables for special trains but I know of no actual train schedules for any train movements . I seem to recall seeing one schedule but can't remember the source for it. It was a form hand lettered with the details of the shipment. Although there are numerous references to these schedules I've never seen them reproduced.

There's a timetable (a fahrplanaordnung) for the train operating between Warsaw and Treblinka and the Ganzenmueller/Wolff letters but no other records that I can find. Was it always the same train and crew? Could train "A" deliver Jews to Treblinka, require service or repairs while train "B" returned empty to Warsaw?

There is proof that deportees left Treblinka for alternate destinations but there are no train records for those transferred from Treblinka. Does anyone have an example of what such a record would look like?

Do you have videos where they actually say that?

As for the train records. One would need a sourcebook on this scans of the *inbound train records* and also of the *outbound train records*.

If they have the 'inbound train records', but can't show the 'outbound train records' they'll have to explain that.
Is there any discussion on this anywhere in terms of journal articles?
