Lipstadt, Amalek and Irving
This writer will be putting online later in September (or early October) the video of my speech, "Lipstadt, Amalek and Irving." It was first given at David Irving's 2001 Real History conference in Cincinnati. My talk documents and analyzes Deborah Lipstadt's ominous categorization of David Irving as an "Amalekite." In Judaic theology this is tantamount to calling for his extermination (irony of ironies).
In the talk at the Real History gathering, I give examples of Palestinians who were labeled "Amalek" by Israelis and then murdered. Hence, I accuse Debbie the Darling of Human Rights "Holocaust" activists, of being guilty of incitement to murder.
In 2006 the video of this speech was put online on the fledgling "Google Video" service. On January 27 of that year Prof. Lipstadt condemned it on her blog, describing it as, "a virulent attack on me."
Rather quickly "Lipstadt, Amalek and Irving" was banned by Google. Coincidence?
After it was removed, we made an issue of Google's censorship in our Hoffman Wire column and readers wrote letters of protest to Eric Schmidt, Google's CEO at the time. Prof. Lipstadt then had the chutzpah to cry crocodile tears about the removal, claiming she wanted the video left online, because it was such a self-indicting example of "Jew hate." (Needless to say, what I reported about her reckless and unconscionable application of the term Amalekite to Irving was not anything remotely like "hate" of any kind, unless of course truth constitutes hate).
I don't think I should put "Lipstadt, Amalek and Irving," on YouTube prematurely, before the "Denial" movie begins to make sustained headlines. Many of our people are so distracted by the myriad fascinations of the Internet that their attention spans have become shorter than Andy Warhol's fifteen minutes. Consequently, we will time the video's release on YouTube to coincide with the first big wave of publicity for the "Denial" movie, and at present it's not clear when exactly that will be. You can watch this space, or my twitter account: @HoffmanMichaelA -- for the announcement of the YouTube debut of "Lipstadt, Amalek and Irving." (It's available on DVD now. Interested persons may e-mail this writer for details).
The fictionalized Tinsel town account of David's libel trial contra Lipstadt will have its North American premier in Toronto on 9-11, at the Toronto Film Festival (Princess of Wales Theatre, 7 p.m.). “Denial" won't debut in every multiplex in the US until October 21. The distributor, Bleecker Street Media, is staggering its release to build maximum word of mouth and other forms of publicity. It will open in New York and Los Angeles Sept. 30, and then in successive major U.S. cities each weekend until Oct. 21, when it will finally be in theatres nationwide.

Asking Deborah Lipstadt to prevent censorship of YouTube video about her labeling David Irving “Amalek”

Dear Prof. Lipstadt
In the near future we will be placing on YouTube a video of my speech, “Lipstadt, Amalek and Irving,” analyzing the ominous implications of your use of the term “Amalekite” to describe dissident historian David Irving.
As you may recall, the video of my speech first appeared online via Google’s video service.
On January 27, 2006 you denounced my speech on your blog [http://lipstadt.blogspot.com/2006/01/revealing-and-revolting-video-attack.html] as a “revolting video attack." After your denunciation — and two days after Mr. Irving was sentenced to prison in Austria for giving a revisionist lecture — my video was banned by Google.
After Google took the video of the speech down, on Feb. 23, 2006 you then stated you did not want it removed [http://lipstadt.blogspot.com/2006/02/google-censors-antisemitic-video-and-i.html].
We call on you now to inform your powerful acolytes in the top echelon of the corporate media that our video should not be censored. Let’s see you pre-empt censorship, in keeping with your stated principles, rather than sanctimoniously decrying it only after speech critical of you has been tyrannically suppressed.
Yours for Freedom,
Michael Hoffman

Note: The “Lipstadt, Amalek and Irving” video had passed Google’s review process and was approved for broadcast by Google.
The finding, on the part of Google almost a month after it had been placed online, of a “violation,” can only be due to behind-the-scenes pressure exerted on Google.
The video had been broadcast from January 24 to Feb. 22, 2006 with, according to Google, 1708 “page views” in that time period.
Regarding this censorship, an in-depth report and analysis of Prof. Lipstadt's damage control stratagem and dissembling will be appear in our hard-copy Revisionist History newsletter no. 86, which will be published later in September.
When "Lipstadt, Amalek and Irving" appears on the Internet (on YouTube), readers of this forum will be notified.

Re: Lipstadt, Amalek and Irving
Hi Michael,
What took you so long to be here? on this forum.
I saw you on Red Ice radio discussing Irving and was impressed with your erudite points and speaking style. One thing I wished you mentioned about Lipstadt is that when Irving got out of jail, Lipstadt complained. She was upset they let him out, yet while Irving was in jail she acted like she was against his being in jail! Irving documents that on his "radical diary" blog.
Maybe a moderator should combine this thread with your other one about asking Lipstadt, peremptorily, to not advocate taking your video down when you post it, since you mention this on this post also.
Welcome. I also want to say that it's admirable you use your real name here.

Where did Deborah Lipstadt call David Irving "Amalekite"? - Does any recording exit of this?
Is your video still available somewhere?
Since uploaded videos on social media sites get frequently "taken off", due to organized complaint bombing, one should put the eggs in more than one basket. Except for youtube, that would be archive.org, but there are other sites as well. Archive.org seems to be resisting removal demands. Since only a few videos I uploaded there got ever removed (apparently to copyright or similar claims). There is other sites as well one can consider. The firmest is however having your own hosting services.

Michael Hoffman:
Do you have a transcript of your video?
Do you have a link to a video or article in which Lipstadt calls Irving "Amelekite"?
Thank you!

To Steve F
There’s no transcript of the video (it is also being reissued on CD-audio), but we have printed out our precise sources for our allegations in "Revisionist History," issue no. 86, which, if you are in the US, you can obtain a copy of by postal mail. The details are at this link:
http://www.revisionisthistory.org/page15/page15.html
I also reference my sources in the video/audio itself.
We nailed her on this. She can’t easily evade it. In Judaic lore, Amalek must be exterminated and she termed Mr. Irving just that. Palestinians thus labeled have often had short life spans. Of course, her stigmatizing Irving with this extermination incitement is of zero interest to the heart-on-their-sleeve “humanitarian” Establishment media, who fawn over Ms. Lipstadt’s every pronouncement, as if she were descended from Elysium.

See my reply to Steve F. (above).
Also: the “Lipstadt, Amalek and Irving” video of my speech will go online at YouTube once we are closer to the movie’s U.S. release date. If we put it online it now it will get lost in the vast haze of digital distraction and background “noise” where, in my opinion, dwell far too many of our colleagues here in cyberspace. Timing is everything in public relations, especially when it’s a case of little David vs. giant Golipstadt.

Thanks Michael Hoffma
My concern is that we ought to be prepared (as with pamphlet, web-site etc.). So having that ready would be and advantage.
Cyberspace is where you can reach people outside your own private circle. To me it's also a source of information, literature, media products.
I don't have always time at hand, but when I have, I did use some of it to give revisionism or what supports hit some exposure and distribution.
To me nothing is as powerful as original, primary sources, which are verifiable of course. People that need spoonfeeding are not on my agenda right now. I also don't transpose "conspiracy stories", while I'm not a coincidentialist, believing only that what happened in public and is official is was matters. That's not how business works and even less does politics. I point out that people, organisations and institutions typically do have interests that the pursuit and that not always in an open, honest, nice way. People should draw their own conclusions on this.
I get that you have to sell materials in order to sustain yourself. Without an economic base there can't be activity. I'm living in a third world country, which used to have access to first world services and had modern infrastructure. Buying online is not for us here. Here almost everything is cash. And you can't really use the postal services anymore. On the bright site, there is no (legal) infringement on Revisionists here, one can't rely on that "legal system" anyway. People don't really care about this, or only a very limited number (Jews and some white liberals may be) does.
So when that comes in the cinema - It's not that of a big deal distributing Revisionist pamphlets there. But of course that's something I need to find out first

I will gladly mirror this type of content; let me know and I will be more than happy to oblige!
You can reach me at the following e-mail address: [email protected].
Yes, the e-mail address may look awkward, but that's because everything sent to it will end up in a special folder named "forum" and not with all my other e-mails; it is a lot easier to keep order this way!

But I may have other material of interest. This material may however be already uploaded and all I would have to do is to point you to the links for download and doubling. On the other hand I may also have material, that isn't online until now. But it would take a major search through my archives to compile which material has got that status.
Then there is the issue of material that is online, but behind a pay-wall. I could point you to some interesting links to that. It's official gov. documents dealing with actions, intelligence reports and propaganda material by Allied governments relating to the history prior, during and after world war II as well as what the Allies believed / wanted others to believe about the fate of the Jews.
Re: re: Lipstadt, Amalek and Irving
Hey Hektor!
All noted. Thank you. I can only reply very briefly due to my Internet being non-existent (I am using a mobile phone for the uplink right now).
I have a suggestion: you could get yourself an account on one of my servers where you can freely upload any material you think could be worth saving. What do you think about that?
We could even make it immediately available through an address such as "hektor.mirror.k0nsl.org".
Best wishes,

Thanks, sounds like an idea. But I think we need to look at some points:
- any legal or regulatory restrictions, except the usual no porn, no scams, no threats type? One may consider this to be self-evident, but nowadays one got to say.
- Will members of the public be able to download and will it be searchable via google?!
- books, video, audio I think the sub-domain name should be of that type books.mirror.k0nsl.org, we'd to agree on one. My reasoning is that the right name may be able to draw more visitors via search engines
Anyway I think it sounds like a plan.
