Here is an article by Eliezer Tauber on the Times of Israel website called "Deir Yassin: There was no massacre." Interesting that nobody is throwing this Jew in jail for hate speech or for denying atrocities.

My findings were basically two: no massacre took place in Deir Yassin, but on the other hand, the false rumors spread by the Palestinian leadership about a massacre, rapes and other atrocities, drove the Palestinian population to leave their homes and run away, becoming a major incentive for the creation of the Palestinian refugee problem.
Several hundred thousand Arab refugees were displaced as a result of Jewish violence and terrorism. Tauber is outrageously trying to say this is because the Arabs own propaganda rather than the more natural explanation: that it was due to Zionist aggression and violence.
A ten-hour fierce battle, in the presence of a civilian population, ended in the victory of Etzel and Lehi. No massacre took place. When the battle ended, the killing stopped. “I believe that most of those who were killed were among the fighters and the women and children who helped the fighters,” one of the Arab survivors was later to testify. Furthermore, the Arab villagers got an advance warning to evacuate the village, which 700 of them followed. The attackers took an additional 200 villagers prisoner and safely released them in Arab Jerusalem. Only 101 Arabs were killed, a quarter of them active combatants and most of the rest in combat conditions. The Jewish assailants also suffered casualties.
Curiously, Tauber tells us only that there were casualties on both sides, implying some sort of fair battle, but he neglects to specify how many Jews were killed. Wikipedia says FIVE Jews were killed, compared with at least 100 Arabs.
“Dr. Khalidi was the one who caused the catastrophe,” one of the Arab survivors ruled. “Instead of working in our favor, the propaganda worked in favor of the Jews. Whole villages and towns fled because of what they heard had happened in Deir Yassin.” The Palestinian leadership intended to exploit the affair to lay pressure on the Arab states to send their armies to Palestine to fight the Jews. The plan boomeranged. Following the rule that women’s honor comes before land, the moment the Palestinians heard about rapes they started to leave.
Israelis and Palestinians believe in two myths about the creation of the Palestinian refugee problem. The Israelis claim that the Palestinians followed their leaders’ exhortations to evacuate their homes temporarily and then return with the victorious Arab armies, but that is not what spurred Palestinians to leave. The Palestinians claim that the Israelis expelled them in 1948, but this was not what drove the departure. The true story of the 1948 Palestinian exodus was a flight mainly motivated by panic over a massacre that never happened.
Once again, we see he tries to say hundreds of thousands of Arabs fled because they tricked themselves into thinking they were being ethnically cleansed.
The horror propaganda about the affair has continued apace from 1948 to the present. The following is just a typical story, repeatedly cited, lately by the exiled Egyptian Muslim preacher, Yusuf Qaradawi: “As a climax of cruelty certain Jewish terrorists laid wagers on the sex of the unborn babies of expectant mothers. The wretched women were cruelly disemboweled alive, their wombs drawn out and searched for the evidence which would determine the winner.”
Hmm, sounds like a Soviet report or a Jewish survivor memoir.
However, Palestinians and Muslim preachers are not the only ones who promote the massacre narrative, Westerners do as well. “Deir Yassin Remembered” is an organization founded in the United States, interested in building a memorial to commemorate the affair in a location overlooking the Yad Vashem Holocaust Remembrance Center in Jerusalem, apparently in order to draw an analogy between the two. The equation recurs in their writings, which argue that describing the massacre as “false, exaggerated, or in dispute” is tantamount to Holocaust revisionism. My research of the affair puts to rest any serious questioning of whether there was or was not a massacre at Deir Yassin. There was not.
Jewish Virtual Library takes a similar on this, referring to the "capture" of Deir Yassin and using the word "massacre" only with scare quotes or to deny it.

This kind of stance on Deir Yassin and on the more general matter of Palestinian displacement is all the more outrageous when you consider how aggressively Jews push their Holocaust propaganda and lobby for unending reparations. I think this is a little too far and hypocritical for the more mainstream liberal Jews. They try to appear more balanced on the Palestinian issue and you won't see those types doing any Deir Yassin denial. Notably though, whatever nominal criticisms these liberal Jews might offer, when push comes to shove, they side with Israel and American policy remains stridently Zionist.

It's pretty astonishing that they try to claim the Palestinian refugee crisis was not caused by Zionist violence and aggression. Here is Menachem Begin, head of Irgun, founder of the Likud Party, and later PM of Israel, in a message to Irgun troops following the massacre.
Accept my congratulations on this splendid act of conquest. Convey my regards to all the commanders and soldiers. We shake your hands. We are all proud of the excellent leadership and the fighting spirit in this great attack. We stand to attention in memory of the slain. We lovingly shake the hands of the wounded. Tell the soldiers: you have made history in Israel with your attack and your conquest. Continue thus until victory. As in Deir Yassin, so everywhere, we will attack and smite the enemy. God, God, Thou has chosen us for conquest.
Gosh, it sure sounds like these fanatics wanted to drive the Arabs out and that's exactly what happened. But they don't want to admit that because they would lose support in among liberals in American and Europe. So they just lie about it and use their media and academic power to make sure most people never hear about any of this.
The Begin quote can be found on page 29 of the 1993 book The Passionate Attachment by George and Douglas Ball. (George Ball incidentally was a very respectable figure who served as Deputy Secretary of State for Kennedy and Johnson and was one of the few in the Johnson administration who disagreed with the war in Vietnam). The Balls go on to demolish the standard Jewish apologetics. Here on page 30.
From the Zionist viewpoint, it was essential not only for the Palestinians to depart but for the Israelis to avoid giving the impression that their forces had forcibly ejected them. Expulsion would have given a legal basis for the Palestinians' right of return, and would have strengthened the Palestinian claims for compensation for the £100 million of property seized or destroyed.
With this in mind, Israel's protagonists in America devised an elaborate cover story to cast the blame on the victims. The Palestinians had fled, the story contended, not because the Israeli Army had forcibly removed them but because Arab leaders had repeatedly broadcast instructions calling on the Palestinians to leave. The reason behind these instructions--so the story ran---was that, even though the Jewish leaders were urging the Arabs to stay, the Arabs wished them to leave so as to make way for advancing Arab armies.
This self-serving account was incorporated in mimeographed pamphlets disseminated widely throughout the American Jewish community and was, in time, into a book by Joseph Schechtman. That book was accepted as gospel by most Jews in America and its arguments even now resurface in letters to the editor.
They also refer to a 1948 IDF Intelligence Branch Report that was made public some time in the 1980s. It's called "The Arab Exodus from Palestine in the Period 1/12/47 to 1/6/48. The upshot is that through June 1, "most of the 300,000-400,000 Palestinians who left their homes did so when attacked by the Irgun and the Lehi (Stern Gang)."

One can only imagine if Jews had been on the other side of something like Deir Yassin what sort of casualty numbers would be thrown around. The ethnic cleansing they engaged in is not much different that the supposed "genocide" (read: expulsion) that happened to them in Europe.
