Please allow me to reconcile the different positions :)

I found out about Revisionism a long time ago (somewhere after 9/11, because that made me think a lot...).
It was a time when you still could find German sites about the topic.
I dismissed it at first just because of the outrageousness of the claim. What brought me back to it was the growing number of reports about people going to jail for stating their opinion without being Neonazis. That puzzled me.
I read the Rudolf Report because I heard of it. I found it somewhere online, I believe it was Barnes Review.
This changed my mind, and I dug deeper, albeit not frequently. It was on youtube that I found denierbudd's videos.
I knew that there was CODOH, but I didn't look into the forum. Only when my questions reached deeper I found that the forum was a huge resource.
Then, this again led me to new videos. So they all kind of sent me back and forth.

I like both Hunt's and denierbudd's videos - each have their flaws.
When I watched my first "Hunt" I thought: wow, finally someone with skills to put together an appealing presentation up to digital standards.
What I liked about denierbudd's videos was the depth and presentation of the sources: you couldn't get closer to showing them - going into an actual library and filming the book on the table. The voice was snide sometimes (even as a German I noticed that), but overall soothing.

Revisionism still lacks a video with new interview footage in HD and good sound recording (this is mostly the problem with amateur productions), and a concise presentation of the weakest points of the narrative for the beginner, and *without* the martial music over-used in many videos (alas also in the compilation "Illuminating the Holocaust", which is otherwise pretty well done and my first choice now if I ever have the chance to show it to someone).
Unfortunately, it's not Hunt who will do that job now...

How did she know it was four in the morning? Just saying...

Maybe she asked the Sheissmeister, yknow the one with the clock around his neck... lol

That was hilarious. I always get an image of a 90s rapper with one of those plastic alarm clocks around their neck.

"I Couldn't agree less"

Don't get me wrong, "I" like Denierbud's too and better now.

But before I knew anything, Hunt's were better. Almost no "ordinary"mind wiped person, as Hannover alluded to, would pay attention.

Hunt was good because he gripped the audience in an action packed and "amusing" way LOL
What are you angry about? By proving the gas chambers a lie, I just knocked off half the holocaust and SAVED 3 million Jew's for you!

I just saved more Jew's than Oskar Schindler allegedly ever did!

I was watching documentaries on WWII, then on my suggested videos appeared David Irving and from there on i saw "Judea declares war on Germany" then "1/3 of the Holocaust" and thats how i then found CODOH.

I found CODOH this way as well. I particularly like "The Greatest Story Never Told." It gave me a new appreciation for the Adolf Hitler we don't learn in the history books or on TV.
After watching that I became extremely skeptical of the official story.

I just showed my friend denierbud's video, 1/3rd of the Holocaust, and pretty much lost him. He was so turned off by his supercilious comments, snide, droning voice, and boring presentation, that he pretty much lost interest in the subject. I wish I had kept him on Eric's videos.

I don't like denierbud's vidoes, either. I like Hunt, I can't believe he turned on us like that.

Now, Jim Rizoli makes some pretty good videos and he's funny.

In the latest interview in July 2017 Germar explained to Jim why Eric switched sides. Besides Germar is finally doing a video version for Lectures on the Holocaust. Every time he was getting started, persecution was knocking on his door. Given the well written source material I think we'll get a great video (series?) which we can show to our friends.

Could you summarise what Germar said about Eric's reasons, please, for those of us who have not watched that video? I, for one, would be very interested to have Germar's take on this.

Eric got into revisionism because of Germar's work. The arguments convinced him of revisionism. Eric himself started getting involved and did his own projects. This and the assault auf Elie Wiesel got Eric in big trouble and so he settled down in eastern europe as an english teacher. But he wanted to live in the USA. One day he the weak evidence for the transit camp theory disturbed him. He attacked Germar because he couldn't answer his questions* about the real function of the AR camps . Eric then blamed Germar for his problems, because his revisionist arguments caused him getting involved.

*Germar found in the Yad Vashem archive an entry of an old man who died in Minsk and I think there were some records about his deportation route.

That's how it looks on the surface to me as well.

But Eric did pretty much research on his own, too. And what he found affirmed his position for years that the Holocaust is essentially a propaganda hoax. Because that's what you see, when one investigates the matter thoroughly and seriously.

None of this really answers the question about Eric's about face though. I think revisionists generally (I think I'm quoting Jürgen Graf) accept that both revisionists and believers have a problem with "Where is the evidence for where they went?". Alive or dead. One of the strongest Revisionist arguments is that the believers only have to do a proper survey of Treblinka to show the mass grave where over half a million people were buried and the argument is over, but they won't.

Eric's behaviour seems to fit the pattern of Blackrabbit and indeed David Cole, instead of lots of output for the other side he has gone quiet. The bit he did produce was frankly ludicrous, which suggests to me he is sending a signal.

I think someone said he is now in East Europe. If so he is readily leaned on.

Here is the interview: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wHRBvcrG_XE
In 55:00 he starts talking about the history between him and Eric.

The location of Belzec and Sobibor strongly suggests they were used as a transit station. They were very close to the soviet border. And for Sobibor there exists a exchange between Himmler and the commander in charge of the region. Himmler writes the "Durchgangslager" (transit camp) has to be upgraded to a concentration camp. Carlo Mattogno should it have included in his Sobibor study.

But still, the remaining deportees have to be found.

Ryan Dawson claims to have converted Eric Hunt using the arguments of David Cole. This seems very strange to me, given that Hunt was not convinced by these arguments when presented by Cole himself, as attested by their correspondence.

Dawson's fake claim is laughable given this beat down of Cole:

Who is this bloke Dawson? I have never heard of him and to my mind anyone who needs to wear sunglasses indoors in front of a camera needs a check up. There is no way an intelligent man like Hunt could be convinced by this idiot.
