What was the main cause of the deaths in camps?

Postby AxisHistory2006 » 2 months 5 days ago (Tue Apr 04, 2023 7:36 pm)

We've all seen the bodies. The issue is when people see the bodies they believe they were either gassed or shot. But what's the reality behind these bodies? Did most of the Jews die from disease? Is there a recorded Typhus epidemic in 1944 in the camps that could kill thousands? I would like to see sources of what was going on and know how these people died. Thanks!

I would think that most of the people in those pics died from starvation and or disease exacerbated by the huge bombings towards the end of the war. Germany was in a real mess. Food and medical care for camps would have been non existent.
GAS CHAMBER: disguised as a "shower room"
- Never used as a gas chamber.

The camps where those terrible photos were taken (called the Western camps) were quarantined, deloused with DDT and sometimes even burned down (Belsen) after they had been captured by the Allies. Clearly sanitary measures carried out to deal with a major health disaster. Devastate 2 and a half cities every month (!!!) in any country and that's you'll inescapably get after a while. Anyway none of those shocking pics could possibly be the photo of a gassed Jew because all those horror pictures were taken in camps that are no longer regarded as extermination camps with homicidal gas chambers (6 Eastern camps) by any orthodox/antirevisionist/exterminationist historian.

Yes, it's like presenting bodies from an accident as evidence for murder. And that is deception (this is what is meant by lying).
Initially it wasn't generally asserted that the bodies of dead people in sykewar films were Jews. It was stated something like 'undesirables'. And it was a figure of "20 Million" given. There is probably 100s or 1000s bodies that were found. And the cause of death might be various. Typhus may have played a role, but so could other health problems relating to undernourishment as well as lack of clean drinking water. One should also not underestimated psychogenic factors that can lead to mass psychogenic diseases.

As for sources didn't the Allied investigators engage pathologists to look into it? If not, what were there assertions based on?

Bear in mind that Germany was bombed to smithereens, half of the residential buildings were severely damaged. There was rationing and the food supply was diminishing as well. If you couldn't live off your garden or farm, you had a problem. And well there were refugees as well (real ones, not the kind of welfare migrant that nowadays is called 'refugee').

So it is by no means a surprise that people in camps would die. There is plenty of good explanations for this. The gassing myth is for sure neither a good one, nor necessary.

I know Himmler mentioned the Typhus epidemic before his death, but is there any other sources pertaining to Typhus killing lots of prisoners? A testimony? Or maybe a letter from an SS? If so, please let me know. Thanks!

It is occasionally mentioned that Typhus was a serious problem. But when death records are filled in, I don't think it necessarily says Typhus. Because it is not the direct cause of death. It can say heart-failure or something else in those cases. So it can be confusing. What is diagnosed as Typhus isn't necessarily typhus neither. Symptoms may be similar. That is an issue with mass psychogenic illness as well. The physical symptoms are real. But the physical cause isn't necessarily there.

The 1945 letter of Joseph Kramer, the statements of von Eberstein, Konrad Morgen, Rudolf Hoess and Oswald Pohl's lawyer at the 1st Nuremberg show trial, the 1948 report of International Red Cross, the sanitary measures in the liberated Western camps (warning signs, barracks on fire, DDT powdering, quarantine, bulldozers, mass graves, and so on), the testimonies of people (camp inmates and Allied soldiers) who were in the Western camps in April 1945, and the 1980 statement on epidemics in German concentration camps by Dr. Charles Larson (see my previous post in this thread). What else do you want??? A photo of Hitler at the beach with the words "I hate typhus!" tattooed on his chest?

You might find something of interest in this article by Friedrich Berg called Typhus and the Jews. There is a quote from John E Gordon who was Professor of Preventive Medicine and Epidemiology at the Harvard University School of Public Health. A quote from 1948 has him stating "Conditions in Western Europe in many respects favored a much greater spread of typhus fever than actually occurred. Germany was in chaos. The destruction of whole cities and the path left by advancing armies produced a disruption of living conditions contributing to the spread of the disease. Sanitation was low grade, public utilities were seriously disrupted, food supply and food distribution were poor, housing was inadequate and order and discipline were everywhere lacking. Still more important, a shifting of populations was occurring such as few countries and few times have experienced".

There are 2 sides to every story - always listen or read both points of view and make up your own mind. Don't let others do your thinking for you.

Josef Kramer,
a former commandant of the Auschwitz and Belsen concentration camps,
at the Auschwitz & Belsen show trial in Lüneburg :
"All [the victims of concentration camps] died from natural causes."

Under those conditions vastly increased mortality rates are the predictable outcome. While that was useful for propaganda at the time, the mass of historiographers and journalists still refuse to use logic and reason on the matter peddling a story that isn't backed up by empirical evidence at all. In fact it is contradicted by it. So it is no surprise that they have to persecute and jail revisionists and disparage historians that dissent with the 'orthodox view' on things.

Serbia was devastated by typhus in 1915 and a major British newspaper claimed in 1916 that the Austrian & Bulgar allies of the Germans had just slaughtered numerous Serbian civilians in gas chambers. Turning victims of diseases into victims of mass murderers was a propaganda trick already used during WWI.
