It is very important in a discussion about the Holodomor for someone to bring up the topic of where did all of the USSR Stalin stolen grain from the Ukraine go to, and there was a great amount of stolen grain.
The stolen grain from the Ukraine was shipped across the Atlantic Ocean from the USSR to the USA, and purchased by the USA at the highest top commodity grain prices then, in order to help the USA out with the great terrible USA western dust bowl drought that had already been going on for several years at the time of the Holodomor.
Proof is in the US government publicly available historical records of all shipping contents brought to and received in the USA. It is somewhere in the US Dept of Commerce records. A web search may find the proof.
President FDR had to recognize the formerly unrecognized USSR since the USSR started in 1917, in order permit the needed grain shipments to be received into the USA from the USSR.
Stalin used most of the large payment money received from selling all of the high priced stolen grain to purchase new technology from the USA for the USSR, that was then shipped to the USSR from the USA.

If you know where the proof is why don't you search for it and post it? Where did you find out about this in the first place? Couldn't you investigate further based on whatever it was that first furnished you with this information?
Re: Stalin's stolen Ukraine Holodomor grain shipped to USA to help US Dust Bowl
A web search using the following two phrases gives results with more information on this subject.
"The Soviet regime dumped 1.7 million tons of grain on the Western markets at the height of the Famine"
"exported nearly a quarter of a ton of grain for every Ukrainian who starved to death"
When I last searched in 2013 there was much more information on the web about this massive grain import to the USA.
The following web page had information in 2013, but the web page is now gone, but it may be only in reconstruction of the web page: http://www.faminegenocide.com/resources/facts.html
I will check with a local library reference person, who may help to find the desired and true positive government records about these USSR imports.

Re: Stalin's stolen Ukraine Holodomor grain shipped to USA to help US Dust Bowl
[url]I tried to obtain more information about this subject, but due to the virus it is now very slow with obtaining government information.
I accepted in 2013 what I thought was true about this subject, but now it looks like that I may have been in complete error.
I now have found several online documents that seem to indicate that there were no imports of grain to the USA in 1932 to 1934 from anywhere.
And the following web page states that during the Midwest Dust Bowl drought year of 1933, farmers in the USA were paid by the US government to not grow any crops in order to raise crop prices. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Agricul ... stment_Act
The US grain import records for the years around 1933 are possibly now located within the US Custom and Border Patrol office, and one has to submit a Freedom of Information FOIA request to obtain these records.
Possibly the USSR western grain exports of 1933 went to other western countries and not to the USA.
Please excuse me for my big error.

Seems like the UK knew what was happening, did not care, and still brought as much wheat, oats etc from Russia that they could, it was cheaper than buying it from our own farmers??

I'm gracious and would say 'extracted from Ukrainians'. Whether that is theft is another matter. Taxation isn't a solely communist issue. But excessive taxation can be rightfully seen as a crime (As I do).
So they sold it overseas (isn't that 'Capitalist'?) and procured technology. What type of technology was that? Was it for armaments?
