This book was written by Roger Garaudy and caused controversy in France. The author used to be a communist but later became a follower of Islam. He was put on trial in France because the contents of the book breached the anti revisionist law in that country. For his trouble he was issued with a fine of 240 000 francs and a suspended jail sentence. His appeal to the "European Court of Human Rights" was a waste of time. Remember this case when you hear the phoney talk of "Je Suis Charlie" from French politicians.
