Has anyone looked into the validity of this? Found on wikipedia, source is below. Would be interested to see the entire speech. Seems bad . . . even for Hitler.

Document L-3 is a fake. At Nuremberg it was not admitted as evidence. Which should tell you a lot, documents not even the Nuremberg prosecutors would accept is a big deal.

DODD: I should like to point out that L-3, to which Dr. Siemers made reference yesterday, was offered only for identification, as the record shows for the proceedings of that day on the 26th of November, and has received the mark Exhibit Number USA-28 for identification only. First, the Nuremberg prosecution submits a supposed original document that repeats Hitler's statements in a particularly brutal, vulgar and grotesque wording. The "document" is passed on to the US Prosecutor Alderman by an American Journalist. It is introduced into the proceedings, but then immediately rejected as evidence. The forgery is too obvious. This False-Version, not accepted by the court, sparkles with quotations and descriptions

Nor did it stop the Nuremberg prosecution leaking the document to the press to be used as propaganda, much like it has been received:

For the media around the world that is the "revelation" of how Hitler talks to the generals, and of the fact that he harbours plans for world conquest and also has not hid them. Subsequently before the court, US Prosecutor Alderman laconically describes this procedure, which one can hardly believe to be just an oversight, as "some technical error". This error is unworthy of the International Tribunal, and its effect is lasting on the historiography in Germany and the world.

1014-PS is a falsified 'Hitler Speech' written on plain paper by an unknown person. The document bears the heading 'Second Speech' although it is known that Hitler gave only one speech on that date. There are four versions of this speech, 3 of them forgeries: 1014-PS, 798-PS, L-3 , and an authentic version, Ra-27 (XVII-406-408; XVIII 390-402; XXII 65). The third forgery, Document L-3, bears an FBI laboratory stamp and was never even accepted into evidence (II 286), but 250 copies of it were given to the press as authentic (II 286).

L-3 is the source of many statements attributed to Hitler, particularly "who today remembers the fate of the Armenians?" and "our enemies are little worms, I saw them at Munich". 'Hitler' also compares himself to Genghis Khan and says he will exterminate the Poles, and kick Chamberlain in the groin in front of the photographers. The document appears to have been prepared on the same typewriter as many other Nuremberg documents, including the two other versions of the same speech. This typewriter was probably a Martin from the Triumph-Adler-Werke, Nuremberg.

Although this goofy quote is most definitely a forgery (is there a recording? Where's the actual evidence for its validity?) it reminds me a lot of:

Theodore N. Kaufman was an American Jewish businessman. He wrote a 104 page book titled "Germany Must Perish" which advocated genocide via sterilization of all Germans and the territorial dismemberment of Germany, claiming that it would achieve world peace.


Earnest Hooton was an American anthropologist who may not have been Jewish (a few sources described him as such) but professed a very high opinion of them. He wrote an article in 1943 entitled "Breed War Strain Out of Germans" and proposed measures to reduce of ethnic German birth rates, encourage outbreeding or miscegenation with occupying forces, and encourage mass immigration of non-German males to resettle the German state.


Henry Morgenthau Jr was the Jewish US Secretary of the Treasury during Franklin D Roosevelt's presidency. Together with his Jewish associate Harry White, he formulated the Morgenthau plan to permanently eliminate German war potential by territorial dismemberment, partitioning, and deindustrialization.


Louis Nizer was a Jewish American lawyer who wrote a book in 1944 entitled "What to do with Germany?" In the book he addressed this question by suggesting eradicating education and Pan-Germanism, economic destabilization and limitations on the German military.

Yes. I have quoted all there is to quote from Porter regarding document L-3 above.

However, navigating Porters site might yield some other results, so I'll just say it's possible more might exist. But I doubt it. I wish his "Not Guilty at Nuremberg" had more commentary to accompany the documents and trial transcripts. Seeing as Porter is supposedly one of the only people who have fully read all of them, it would be invaluable to have a comprehensive evaluation of the Nuremberg trials.
