New blessed priest, Jan Macha
In the coming months the polish priest Jan Macha will be blessed by pope Francisco. He was allegedly executed by the nazis through guillotine in 1942. As far as I tried I was not able to know on what basis he was arrested. It seems that gestapo decided to arrest and torture a polish priest who has no interest in politics. Also, his remains were never found. Does anyone know anything about this case?

1. How do you know he was supposedly executed?
2. How do you know he was supposedly executed via guillotine?
3. How do you know that 'the gestapo supposedly arrested and tortured a polish priest who had no interest in politics'?
4. Given the lack of proof for the claim, why would you or anyone take such a claim seriously?

If it can't happen as alleged, then it didn't.

I can understand your questions and they seem to me completely valid. However, take a look at wikipedia link:

I can not understand in which ground Macha was arrested. Also, they pretend his execution was "in odium fidei". Despite differences among NS govt and the Catholic church, in Germany there were never an execution due only to a religious faith.

As I thought, he actually was innocent.

I was totally wrong; just found a link to an article about his 'underground' activities. He was a sort of commandant of one group.
