I don't have the time to do a translation just now, but anyone who is interested can cut and paste into Google Translate.

Essentially the article states that Vincent has just been sentenced to two months in prison for a piece that he wrote back in 2011 and published in the French conservative newspaper Rivarol. That article is entitled "An Open Letter to the Defenders of DSK" («Lettre ouverte aux défenseurs de DSK») and was written around the time that Dominic Strauss-Kahn ("DSK"), then head of the IMF and widely touted as a candidate for the French presidency after Sarkozy, was accused of sexual misconduct in a New York hotel. In the letter, Vincent simply points out that it is always unwise to make a rush to judgment, and notes that the media does indeed sometimes promote "official truths" which prove, on examination, to have very little basis in reality . . . like, say, some of the bigger whoppers about the Holocaust. In other words, the open letter isn't really an argument for revisionism per se; rather, it just points out some of the obvious absurdities of Holocaust historiography (e.g., the four million at Auschwitz, the Treblinka steam chambers, the bit about forcing Jews to climb trees and then cutting the trees down, etc.), and builds on them to make a broader point about exercising caution when assessing media claims, as well as to expose the hypocrisy of the Gayssot Law and its defenders. An editorial, in short.

And for that "crime," a French court has just sentenced a man to two months in prison. Rivarol publisher Jérôme Bourbon was also charged, but only sentenced to a fine of 2000 euros (suspeneded), since unlike Vincent he is (or was at the time) a first-time "offender." (Vincent, on the other hand, is a "recidivist.")

I'm not sure yet if Vincent's sentence is to go into effect immediately or not. Hopefully not. He's still free on his two-year sentence from back in February pending an appeal hearing (scheduled for 17 June), and it would really suck if the bastards put him away in the meantime.

So much for Je suis Charlie.

Bonus clip:

Vincent and Jérôme in conversation earlier this year. No subtitles, but even if you don't understand any French, I'm sure you'll be able to see after just a few minutes what a threat they represent to law and order, lol.

Thank you for the update, KZ.

Another sentence to imprisonment for Mr Reynouard. Hmmm. What he fears - i.e. that, once in jail for 2 years because of 4 revisionist videos, the Zionist French Establishment will add new penal sentences on and on (V. Reynouard uploaded hundreds of revisionist videos on youtube) in order to hold him in jail as long as possible - seems to become a reality. He should leave France and Belgium...

is doomed.
