"For to win one hundred victories in one hundred battles is not the acme of skill. To subdue the enemy without fighting is the acme of skill. Hence to fight and conquer in all your battles is not supreme excellence; supreme excellence consists in breaking the enemy's resistance without fighting."- Sun Tzu, Chinese general, and philosopher.

As we all know, the "Allies" (including the USSR) were victorious in the Second World War. Since then, there has been a radical shift in "Egalitarian" or "liberal" or "leftist" thinking, whatever you wish to call it, in the USA and much of the West generally. This was not a natural or accidental development, but was planned and orchestrated. After WWII, communists infiltrated the US (government, media, academia, etc) in a plan called "The long march through the institutions." (I may elaborate on this concept in a later post)
In the 1960s the communists recognized that they couldn't convince Americans or the West as a whole of the values of communism. This was largely because of the revelations from Khrushchev about Stalin's murderous cult of personality, Solzhenitsyn's "One Day in the Life of Ivan Denisovich" and "The Gulag Archipelago" also were released. So there was no way the people could be convinced to adopt communism on ideological or economic grounds. So what did they do?

Mainly, 2 things:
1. They infiltrated and took over our institutions through an ideological subversion and psychological warfare program, demoralizing and brainwashing the American [and western] public. This is discussed in more detail below.
2. They passed the 1965 immigration Act, importing populations that would continue to vote democrat as it increasingly slid to the left. I mean, if you can't convince the people to vote for what you want, then just get new voters! This also includes desegregation, "Civil Rights", and all the other "Social justice" movements of the '60s.
None of this would have happened before World War II as strong public support opposed such policies. And if the Soviets lost WWII, these long-term murderous schemes designed to exploit our weaknesses and turn them against also wouldn't have occurred.
Kevin Macdonald has a great chapter in his book devoted to Jewish over-rerpresentation in radical leftist movements:

As for #2, the following chapter by Macdonald is very revealing:

Were Americans more anti-Semitic than anti-German during WWII?

An excerpt: "American citizens, asked to name the greatest threat to the United States in a series of polls taken by the Opinion Research Corporation between 1939 and 1946, consistently chose 'the Jews' over the Japanese or the Germans, with fear peaking in June of 1944"
Even back in the 1930s, the US federal government was infiltrated at the highest levels by communist subversives and other 'fellow travelers.' See:

If anyone has additional information on the pre-WWII communist infiltration in the US/Western governments it should be posted in that thread instead.
However, it would be wrong to place the blame squarely on Jews themselves here, although they were certainly over-represented in communist/marxist movements and spies in the USA. See: viewtopic.php?t=12671#p96280

If you haven't heard the following name, you need to do your research:
Yuri Bezmenov
From his Wikipedia page:
"Yuri Alexandrovich Bezmenov (Russian: Ю́рий Алекса́ндрович Безме́нов; 1939 – 1993),[2] known by the alias Tomas David Schuman, was a Soviet journalist for RIA Novosti and a former PGU KGB informant who defected to Canada.
After being assigned to a station in India, Bezmenov eventually grew to love the people and the culture of India[3], but at the same time, he began to resent the KGB-sanctioned oppression of intellectuals who dissented from Moscow's policies[3]. He decided to defect to the West[3]. Bezmenov is best remembered for his anticommunist lectures and books from the 1980s.
[...]
In 1984, he gave an interview to G. Edward Griffin. In the interview, Bezmenov explained the methods used by the KGB for the gradual subversion of the political system of the United States.[9]
[...]
In 1983, at a lecture in Los Angeles, Bezmenov expressed the opinion that he "wouldn't be surprised" if the Soviet Union had shot down Korean Air Lines Flight 007 in order to kill Larry McDonald, an anti-communist Democratic member of the United States House of Representatives. Around the same time, Bezmenov had his child in the West, a daughter named Tanya. He later had a son named Johnathan.[11]
[...]
The main emphasis of the KGB is not in the area of intelligence at all. Only about 15% of time, money, and manpower is spent on espionage and such. The other 85% is a slow process which we call either ideological subversion or active measures... or psychological warfare.[12][13]"- Wikipedia: Yuri Bezmenov Archived (23 March 2020)

Bezmenov has I believe 3 video interviews over 1 hour long, but many short excerpts exist all over youtube and bitchute. They aren not difficult to find.
Here's a full video interview:

Here is a video compilation of all of his speeches, about 4 hours long:

From his book (and speeches) Bezmenov describes the four distinct stages of the "Active Measures" (активные мероприятия / aktivnye meropriyatiya) ideological subversion strategy the KGB were using to subvert the west and in particular the USA. It involved a 4 stage process: Demoralization, Destabilization, Crisis, and finally Normalization.
The longest stage( Demoralization) is so long because it's the time it takes to raise one generation with the ideology of the enemy.
#1 - Demoralization:
Takes about 15–30 years and it's the erasing of old values and implantation of the new ones. In 1985, when his interview was conducted, we were already 25 years into an unbelievably successful process of demoralization in the United States. We've been effectively demoralized in America, since 1960, the Cold War era.
#2 - Destabilization:
Takes a few months to five years. its the destabilization of the current political leadership, strikes, revolts, protests; Destabilization of the key factors — Economy, Foreign Relations, Defense Systems; Marxist and Leninist influence on the economy. He cites examples of this occurring in Nicaragua, Grenada, Afghanistan, and Bangladesh.
#3 - Crisis:
Takes days and its the collapse or absence of political leadership, its the coupe, a violent change of power. This is where a cataclysmic event upsets and divides the country thereby creating panic among the citizens. Recent examples include the 2011 upheavals in the Middle East, most notably Egypt and Libya. To Americans, symptoms would include circumventing the Constitution and altering the checks and balances of government, and possibly martial law.
#4 - Normalization:
Indefinite span of time — Our current stage in America. The final stage is where the populace finally acquiesces and begins to assimilate communism; it can take up to two decades to complete.

"As I mentioned before, exposure to true information does not matter anymore. A person who is demoralized is unable to assess true information. The facts tell him nothing, even if I shower him with information, with authentic proof, with documents and pictures. ...he will refuse to believe it... That's the tragedy of the situation of demoralization."– Yuri Bezmenov [1983 interview, linked above]
"Retired KGB Maj. Gen. Oleg Kalugin, former Head of Foreign Counter Intelligence for the KGB (1973-1979), described active measures as "the heart and soul of Soviet intelligence": "Not intelligence collection, but subversion: active measures to weaken the West, to drive wedges in the Western community alliances of all sorts, particularly NATO, to sow discord among allies, to weaken the United States in the eyes of the people of Europe, Asia, Africa, Latin America, and thus to prepare ground in case the war really occurs."- Interview of Oleg Kalugin on CNN, 27 June 2007
