I'm glad to see this thread is here. Believers have made claims on other forums that certain topics are too much of a headache for 'Deniers' that we just can't help but banish these topics from discussion. Yet, here it is: a chance to make us all look like fools and bring the 'truth' to light! So, what are you waiting for?

What is it you think we are afraid of?

Oh, and when they eventually muster the meager "courage" they have to come here and debate their belief, such as what Nick Terry tried to do, not so long ago, they wind up with excuses such as:

"I'm too busy now with stuff so I can't debate gas chambers, only geographies" (he thought he had a penchant to win with this topic)

Et cetera.

Then they leave, and come back again several months later to talk about entirely different issues. Ha!

Fair enough, Balsamo.
That thread existed in both the "Holocaust" Forum and the WWII Forum.There were different comments in one vs. the other. When yours truly attempted to merge all the posts into one thread in the "Holocaust" Forum I ended up deleting it completely. I know, asleep at the wheel. Kingfisher has already taken me to task for that, so again, I apologize. Please feel free to start another thread on Oradour.

There may be a problem in connection with the Crime of the Century thread (started by new contributor JonDoug). Although no specific topic is banned or censored, the contributor is not allowed to discuss what in his view is the overall "convergence of evidence" on a single thread. The thread is of course locked.

I can see that the discussion on such a thread can quickly lose focus, but perhaps there is a case for allowing one thread per individual contributor to allow them to gather their thoughts together in one place.

Or perhaps we should simply have a thread on Convergence of Evidence?

He was asked three times to organize his thoughts into separate threads.
The 'Crime of the Century' thread was / is a convoluted mess making it difficult for readers, some not familiar with our subject matter, to follow. Our simple guidelines are here for good reasons. JonDoug is allowed to discuss his views about the claimed "convergence of evidence" in a single thread. Why doesn't he? His views are not banned or censored. He is free to post his opinions.

Or perhaps we should simply have a thread on Convergence of Evidence?

Whoa! I just attempted to make a lighthearted post in response to Moderator's 'confession' that he had managed to erase two posts at once in a failed attempt to merge the two threads. I was notified by Moderator that I am now, after 8 years of posting on CODOH, under moderation and must have my posts approved by him before being posted to the forum. I would like an explanation. If I'm no longer welcome at CODOH, just say so and I'll take my leave. There's no need to engage in harassment tactics.
